Not giving Lacuna Coil the Main stage was a crime in itself!!!😲I almost had a heart attack and a triple bypass when she stepped off that edge of the stage onto that weak ass ledge.Omg!!!😲
I'm glad to see them,I can feel the energy from the stage,they definitely didn't take their time from the stage for granted,but I think they should hold the night slot,but whatever their still great anytime anywhere!!!!!🤔👍
They were once my favorite band. With the change in style after Dark Adrenaline (which was not the first, by the way) their music no longer touches my heart. This setlist is basically full of the new stuff, but I came here anyways for the nostalgia. I will stick to the classics, but my interest for them will always be there. Who knows? Maybe they'll release something like In a Reverie again in the future :D
I kind of have to agree with you, but also disagree at the same time. Though I love the old Lacuna Coil everything to me starting with Shallow Life left me feeling sort of, well, shallow. That is until Dark Anima. The sheer heaviness of that album, I think, brought the band to a point that people need to pay more attention to them. That being said, as much as I love the early work, (In A Reverie for instance) I don't think it would be popular among today's metal scene. Goth just isn't what most people are looking for in general.
Delirium was their finest hour out of all their albums even Black Anima can't touch that album,its totally Awesome and I've listened to every album for a whole year while I work in a warehouse at work with ear buds,I like the Crown Album too,I like Shallow life and Dark Adrenaline, But Black Anima well,you just gotta put that one in your back pocket,its okay,but it doesn't have the catchy songs of Delirium..🤔
@@anthonyhansel9175 yeah man, Goth Metal is pretty much dead these days. Most of the old classic bands have changed their styles (like Tristania) or simply come to an end (like Theatre of Tragedy). Some have returned to their roots, like Paradise Lost, and some new bands are trying to surface, like To Cast a Shadow, but truth is the genre itself has lost power over the years. It's a pity, as it is my favorite, but the classics are always around. I will give Dark Anima, Broken Crown Halo and Delirium a new try. Thanks for sharing!
