The Gokongweis (Robinsons) and the Gotianuns (Filinvest), are also from Cebu. They started all in Cebu, branched out in Manila and all over the Philippines. They still have their ancestral abodes here in Cebu.

also Aboitiz is now heavily interconnected with the Ayalas, the heir to the Ayalas Jamine Alfonso Zobel is married to Marga Aboitiz, so is his sister Mariana to Danel Aboitiz, and their cousin Natalia Zobel married to Eduardo Aboitiz. so its now an Ayala-Aboitiz family tree

Definitely, it is not low-key. Maybe, this is what you mean here: They are "keeping a low profile" of that intermarriage. It is an idiom which means: Staying out of public notice , and avoiding attracting attention to themselves. I believe that's what you mean that with that word "low key". Because if you mean low key as is , then you're wrong because it's definitely NOT. However , if you say "significant", we will be on same wavelength , since I'll gladly agree with you 💯%

So, what is exactly a Cebuano blood❓ There is no such thing as Cebuano blood. That is only your own invention. Maybe, what you mean is this... they mostly are Caucasians, and not of Malay Polynesian extract. Any province has nothing to do with ethnicity or races. So, do not talk about Cebuano blood, because there's no such thing. And these people are pure Cebuanos, because they were born there. Don't ever think that you are MORE Cebuano than they are. Otherwise, you simply have a wrong perception of yourself 😚😚😂

Did you know that during the spanish colonial period, the term "filipino" were for the Spanish people who were born in the Philippines? The Aboitiz clan's northern spanish ancestors were already established in Cebu for hundreds of years. So they are now both Cebuano AND Filipino nationality of Spanish blood. Cebu (and the Visayas regions ) have a lot of Spanish-Filipinos.
