- (4-2-22) Enjoy this full tour of the elevaTOURs Elevator Museum as of April 2022. I have added some exciting new things to see for this tour including new simulators, car switch displays, and changing out pieces to keep variety! We will also take a look at our second area where we keep extra parts and some of the newest items to arrive!
I have worked on a lot of the parts that are on display here! Some of those projects have been linked as cards in the video, but if you want to see more project videos, check out my website with all my elevator part related videos: www.stlelevators.com/parts

Wow this museum has grown so much. Hopefully one day it will get so big it has to move out of the storage facility to where more people can see and visit it!!!
I really want to move it into a better location at some point. For now though, this is what we have to work with.
5:46 New ThyssenKrupp Floor Passing Chime. I love that!
Yep!
Nice to see this place alive after late June on CZcams! This location seems ideal because not everything will work permanently and have to work nicely.
Also, i wish i can make my own contributions but it's extremely diffcult to do so from India.
Hey if you get some extra parts you want to send in, I'm sure it can be done!
Awesome! 9:25 AAAAAAAAAA FOAM FI GS
lol
Can't wait to visit! I've been wanting to visit Roanoke for quite a while now.
Hope you enjoy it :)
Outstanding! The collection is amazing! Your work restoring is amazing! The simulations are incredible! The combination of your knowledge and narrative skills are off the hook!
Thank you! I've put a lot into this place, so I'm kinda proud to show it off haha
@@stlelevators I'd love to see it in person if I can ever swing that.
Hello @@stlelevators
@@stlelevators and i have a schindler ht at my house and it is restricted takes the t100 key
Nice to see this place again! It’s been quite a while
It has been a while. I really wanted to show off some of my recent projects and the new selector!
These museum tours are yearly.
I try to do one after major changes.
I like the sound when you press the buttons
Which ones?
@@stlelevators The round black Otis buttons with the U and D printed on them. Good tactile feedback.
@@HD-watcher Ah yes that panel.
Mechanical floor selectors and old relay logic controllers are really cool.
I'm so happy we have a selector here. It gives us the ability to show people the workings of some of these old systems.
I will TOTALLY COME HERE!
You should!
The simulator panels are actually quite outstanding
Thanks!

8:10 Exactly like the floor selector
That was the idea.
I like this. It has progressed through the years
Yes it has. I remember the first time I came here in 2018 when it was just piled full of Andrew's stuff along with the elevator stuff.
@@stlelevators me too.
5:26 *T H E B E L L*
I like Montgomery and Schindler
Those are two neat brands.
30:35 is that where the regency is gonna go?
Awesome tour btw. Best one yet!
That pie plate selector is EPIC!
I don't have a dedicated place for it yet.
@@stlelevators ah okay.
31:44 Mrmattandmrchay's favorite floor selector(he even explained how it works)
I think it's cool we have one now!
You need to line up the US call stations from oldest to newest (what came out first, next and last). Square is first, Circle is second and Soft Touch is third.
I've thought about setting up a US shelf for something like that.
Awesome Museum! I found a Montgomery A series elevator with a 3 story panel almost identical to yours with the lockout switch which except the one that I found had a floor lockout switch for B which was the airport tarmac floor.
Thanks!
@@stlelevators No problem.
Where does a person find this cool stuff???
@@shawnaburns5158 I don’t have any clue.
This is 👌😏
Thanks!
Wow. That selector is tits. Pretty incredible that regardless of oiling it, it still functions as intended
It shows how well these old selectors were made.
For sure. Nothing is built to last like that anymore
Hello, thanks for the update! I’ve been looking forward to this video for a while now. If you don’t mind, can you please tell me what I can do or who I can call if I want to schedule a visit? Thanks.
You can schedule a visit through the contact form on the website. I'm not always there, so the visit will have to be planned around Andrew's work schedule. www.dieselducy.com/elevator-museum
Simulator panels--11:33, 13:29
I have some more ideas for sims that I want to build.

We need to go here!!! My son is obsessed. Is there a group for this? I need a list of places to go.
You can always reach out through our website: elevator.fan
2:58 Exactly the same fixtures in the Red Staircase Elevator in MSI Chicago but had black halos instead of white (it was modded unfortunately)
I remember riding that too.

When will this video be also posted on the DieselDucy website?
I'll go update it now.
I love this ,,,do you know where I can locate the floor indicator 60's70',s era with the cube lights that go across,,,in the car or above the elevator entrance,,,been looking for years and cannot find one please let me know possibly where I could pick one up 8-10 story one
Thanks! I left a response regarding your question on the other comment you left.
You gotta get a vector panel!
Someday!
2 storage units or not yet?
Watch the tour and find out.
WELCOME TO SPRINGFIELD MASSACHUSETTS EST 1636
6:38 Do you know what building this panel (San Francisco Elevator Co) came from? (if either you or DieselDucy know where it is, and are comfortable saying where). I might visit the building to see what the elevator looks like now, depending on where it is, and if it is fairly easy to gain access to the building.
I have no idea.
They need to fix the leak in that storage facility. Maybe replace the roof.
We are going to move to another area when one opens up. The manager wants to fix the roof but the section that is under is a bit more complicated.
Old roof that’s never been replaced.
The power at your place in St. Louis is not as weak; the Touch Sensitive panel works there better.
Pretty much anywhere is not as weak as here.
Another consideration is to power that panel with a battery that’s not connected to the storage facility’s electrical system; you would have to rework the wiring behind the car panel though.
SPRINGFIELD ENDS
Is that Series 5 call station wired up or not?
If it was you would see it light up.
5:40 Where can I get that part that has the Grocery Store Beep?
I don’t even know where we got it 😂

What website could I find these panels from?
What do you mean? More info on the museum or where to get your own? If you're looking for the museum it is museum.elevator.fan and if you're wanting parts, well, that is not just something you can just buy.

Have you been in the St. Louis arch? Andrew has recently.
It's been a few years. If I wasn't in school I would have gone with him.

Where’s that Safety Ambassador button?
It's at Andrew's house. There's a few panels that are over there. I try to switch things around here and there though.
I saw he has 2 of those TK Safety Ambassador buttons. I’ve seen it in past museum tours before. I guess one is now at Zach’s apartment and the other at Andrew’s house.
When will the 2023 tour come?
Next time I go to Roanoke
