One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, introduced to me by one of the most beautiful people I've ever known. Though we've drifted apart, this song will forever be almost too painful to listen to, but at the same time as essential to my survival as air or water. I'd never heard anything like it before, it was like seeing a rainbow for the first time. I can't explain the feeling it brings me - a familiarity but also the feeling that I've found something new that I've always been searching for, even though I don't know what it is. It's like it completes me or fills in some missing puzzle piece. The chord changes are heartbreaking, the last 30 seconds are an assault to my senses that leaves me with goosebumps and tears. I don't know if any of this makes sense or if anyone else will ever even read it... I needed to express this. I miss you, NE. Even though this is a sad song, I imagined us dancing to this at our wedding. I can still see it, feel you, smell you. It would have been the greatest moment of my life.

My ex boyfriend is gravely ill in hospital with sepsis and is unlikely to survive. This song always reminded me of him when I had a crisis in 2015. He seen me through my hard times and because of Covid I can’t even visit him. Please get well Tom x

This song is one that I would listen to when I need to have a good cry, along with "Forever" by Siouxsie and the Banshees and "Fade Into You" by Mazzy Star. Something very soul cleansing listening to haunting songs sung by women.

Girl L'amour these lyrics may be incorrect but I think I like "find yourself in a new direction aeons far from the sun" better than "arrows falling from the sun" ...it makes more sense in a way..and sounds more.. astronomical.

I listened to this song when I randomly took a bus trip out of Texas one morning. So liberating.
This song is euphoric. Years and I've kept coming back. It's like an audio drug. Every time it finishes, I don't immediately play another song, I need time to process the journey Victoria's vocals took me on. Not to mention the enhancement of the instruments and music by Alex and James. Just beautiful. 10/10

a beautiful song
this reminds me of a friendship i have. his name is josh and he is just the best person ive ever known. there was not a single flaw in his personality nor physicality. he was just about a month older than me which he always used against me. we met in probably elementary school but started becoming friends around 8th grade. freshman and junior year we had every single class together. sophomore year we had about 4 of our classes with eachother. we are now both seniors in highschool. we had so much in common i don’t recall ever meeting someone so similar to myself. he had the best sense of humor by far out of everyone i knew. he always did the dumbest things to make me laugh. josh (he) was also very athletic and LOVED sports. i went to all of his baseball games whenever i could because i wanted him to know that i was always gonna be the supportive friend he needed. after his games we would typically talk about our days and about our plans for the rest of the day. he wasn’t just my friend but he was the guy i knew i’d care about and love forever. whenever i needed him he was always there. he made sure i was ok and made sure i was happy. this past summer he moved states away. i haven’t seen him since july but i have plans to visit him in november for a week or so. i want to build up the courage to express my genuine feelings to him because even if he doesn’t feel the way i do i know that he needs to know. his last day in our home state was a day of just us hanging out at our favorite places to go as friends. i remember crying my eyes out that day because i knew that i wasn’t going to see him everyday. i love you so much josh. can’t wait to see you.
