- Hi All. This is my trying project.
Attempt One, I will be back hopefully able to play better one day.
Mr Briefcase By Lee Ritenour.
There is a lot of mistakes in this.
I have to start somewhere.
The learning never stops.
Trying to keep it together is hard with a song this hard to play.
I am posting the bass transcription or If not able to it will be on my CZcams channel.
Wishing you all the very best from Max.
( I do not own the rights to this song )
Thankyou Lee Ritenour & David Hungate Bass &
Jeffrey Porcaro Drums for the life long music lessons
Notation version only Bass Transcription. Hopefully I can get around to doing a TAB version.

...I think the bassline sounds good!
The crucial thing is not playing 100% 😀the original bass line, but having fun playing it at all.
Best regards from Hamburg
wow you are awesome. this kind of reminds me of imperial strut by the yellow jackets.
Hello TMBANKS. Hope you are well. I am just trying to become some sort of better musician. My whole life's dream. Wishing you all the best in everything you do too. Thank you from Max
I'm glad to see you're dedicated to learning! I think this is a great start, better than I could do, but a couple pieces of constructive criticism I have about your playing are that compared to the original, your bassline is a bit too fluid. In your slap playing, your pops need more force to them, and some of them really need to be a bit more staccato. The way you're playing it feels like there's no accents on any of the slaps, feels a little muddy and overall just not forceful enough. Anyway, good work man, just something I noticed that I thought could help you to keep in mind!
Thank you very much I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my post.
