All of these athletes are trained to be the best 3 point shooters in the world but you cant tell me someone can make 4 3 points in a succession every match. It takes luck to shoot abover average.
It takes luck to go hot. Those are these factors that decide close matches. Sometimes one has luck with shooting above their career average. Other times in other matches they go cold and shoot for 25% for 3.
Every single one of these shooters is world class and has skill. its not skill that is in question here - sometimes a player gets hot and has everything going for them. some call it getting in the zone others call it getting hot. And these are moments they dont control. There is no switch for running hot. Sometimes it just happens

@@lovenlightman I think the last 2 postseasons for the Nuggets were pretty much proof of this. Jokic is good and can single handedly bring this team to the playoffs. But with his pick and roll partner, they're just outright deadly and can make a deeper run.
Just a fun fact: the earliest the Nuggets were eliminated in the playoffs with Jokic and Murray playing was Game 7 in the 2019 Semifinals. Since then, they've gone to both conference finals

@@dylantreddott3428 Actually both teams are good and luck does play a role since every one of these athletes could switch on and have a good game. This night Murray went hot but its not fair to say that lakes dont have skilled shooters who cant match him.
These matches are decided by luck and as Ive said both teams have playes who can just switch on and burry the opponent. The hot run happening is pure luck because every single of these people is capable of doing what Murray did.
Here is an example of what Im talking about: You cant say Clay Thompson is not skilled. But all it took is for him to be unlucky and not run hot in 2 matches against the Lakers and the Warriors got eliminated. But we all know what Thompson is capable of.
Both teams are evenly matched. One can easily see this by both matches ending in single digit margin.
All it takes is AD to explode in the next 2 games and catch up. But also the opposite could happen. Murray or Jokic could easily have monster games.
So its not skill. Its just luck whoever wins. We are talking about the best of the best in the world and every single player on that court can go red hot and make a difference.
I say its too early to give this to Denver. We have no clue how they will play in LA given that they had very hard time even beating LA in Denver.
@@robotube7361 I understand your opinion on the luck factor but are you telling that a player like Jimmy Butler who somehow becomes a different player in the playoffs also has this luck? Game after game? And Klay Thompson is not the guy he was after the injury. Sure he missed some shots but it wasn't because he was unlucky. From my perspective some shots he took were bad shots. Again I'm not saying luck doesn't count but don't overlook the skill of the players.

@@jbosko95 For me Jokic is true successor to Bird, not because he is white but because how similar they play. As you said, Bird also dominated the game by being overall better player than others. Its quite shocking how similar these two are, both great leaders, high IQ, court awareness, passing, hustle, creative shots. If there is any doubt how well would Bird do today one can just look at Jokic.

Dlo played as well as he can against the Nuggets.
AD had a bad offensive game after a good offensive game, that's been his thing in these playoffs. Still was great on defense.
The Nuggets this year is just a much better team. Despite the ref's help the Lakers can't turn it around.

Not a big NBA fan but real question how was Jokic not given the MVP this season I thought it wasn't about race but what the player brings in both the regular season and playoffs.

As it stands...Denver has a chance to win their first ever NBA Championship. Beyond that, with all due respect to LeBron and the Lakers and also to the Warriors (Steph Curry is the best shooter and one of the greatest in history without a doubt) that the Lakers beat them... the table doesn't lie. Denver advanced to the playoffs from 1st place, not 6th place and certainly not 8th place. It is true that playoffs are playoffs and it is true that teams in good times have already caused unexpected revolutions and although there have already been many revolutions in history...still without a shadow of a doubt it appears that this year is Denver's year for the first time in history.

Nuggets team play is incredible but I have to hand it to Jokic and Murray for coming up with big shots and 3-pointers.
Lakers fan here, and in my humble opinion Denver has a better team than Lakers, and Jokic's been teaching AD how to play basketball as a big man.
1st half officiating was just awful against the nuggets but they stay composed despite all of that. Rui was having almost a perfect shooting percentage. In the 2nd half murray finds his rythm and hits several clutch three pointers. Brown and porter jr. hit couple of big three's as well. You have to be worried if you're a lakers fans heading into game 3 as lebron's health is questionable and could possibly affects his overall performance assuming he play.
