Towing with A 3.6l Jeep Gladiator

- A quick run down of my setup and experience towing with my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. The truck has a 2" lift and the factory 33" Falkens . The exhaust you hear in the video is basically a custom straight pipe I made from the cats back with no muffler and the factory resonator welded to the end.
With a properly loaded trailer, squat on the factory springs is minimal, even without a weight distribution hitch. All in all I think it does a great job for what it is.

Coming from a Ram 5.7l 8-speed, I'm pretty happy with how my new JTM tows. I have a 20ft dovetail lowboy tandem axle. It weighs about 2100 lbs empty. Haul my small front-end loader tractor with brush hog once a month. That's about 6200lbs. Otherwise, it's lighter loads like mowers, shredder, smaller equipment. I assume it's comprable to a Ram 1500 3.6l. Which I was on the fence about getting. But the family LOVES the Jeep.

Thanks for the info I just recently bought gladiator and plan on doing a little bit of towing and was concerned coming from the F150 about the compatibility of heavier loads

Towing capacity is 4500 pounds.
4500 for the manual and 6000-7000 for automatic depending on trim level.
120 lbs for aluminum ramps? I’ve got 2 x 10’ aluminum ramps and they might weigh 25 lbs a piece…….
@@Elkslaya1 you had me curious so I had to go get exact weight. manufacturers website (longramps) says they’re 98ilb so I was off a bit. Either way they’re heavy
