I’ve read that coyotes will pretend to be playful with dogs to gain their trust so that they are “easier” prey. Scary stuff!! I’m glad your instinct was to put Rambo back in the van.
Yea, homie don't play that ish lol
Dogs+ cats are candy bars to coyotes.
Dont fool yourselves.
Dude, your dog isn't a "Wild animal" but those coyotes sure are.
They were triangulating ( hunting) your
" wild animal"....
After you drained the pasta you could have just added the sauce to the pan at that time and stirred it up and the pasta would have heated up the sauce and everything would have been ready. It's just a suggestion.
“Snowing one day and 80 degrees on the other.” You just described Colorado weather
I couldn’t spend more than a few hours there. I’ve lived in California twice for 6 months at a time and avoided the cities of LA and San Francisco like the plague. There’s so many beautiful places to camp
Nice video, thanks for sharing! I heard you said "Back to the parking lot, hopefully the van is still there!", that is exactly how I feel every time I took my van out, National park, State Park, Hiking Trail, these days you'll just never know, how sad!
I said that because we were in LA.
It’s fun watching you prepare dinner.
Next time you make pasta, once you drain it, add the sauce in with the pasta. It makes a huge difference. You could have finished heating the sauce with the hot pasta.
Rambo is such a beautiful dog😍 I love all the vanlife pooches😍
You should head up the coast to Big Sur and Monterey, which was my home for a few years, a slice of heaven. Great place to recharge yourself and take in one of the most beautiful coasts in the world.
That was the plan to drive up to Big Sur... My last stop was Morro Bay where I got sick and had to drive 330 miles back to San Diego... it was a nightmare. FYI... that pink stuff on my lips was lip balm.. cracked lips for like 5+ days from dry air... that's what made me sick.
William, love your organization skills. Would love to see a video of how you plan and prep your weekly meals! Happy miles
Coyotes… they always come out when I walk my dog. They are very crafty and will try to sucker your dog into a trap. It will either be a stalemate or vicious dog attack from the coyotes. Sometimes they are just curious but they will stalk you and your dog. You did the right thing by getting your dog back on leash and leaving.
True, they will act playful to get a dog to chase them off into the brush where the rest of the pack is waiting unfortunately.
City campers I have watched suggest doing your cooking, watching movies whatever you are going to do at a more public friendly spot, and only go to where you were you are going to sleep when you plan to go to sleep. Less chance to draw attention and bug people.
Cool video looking forward to next one. You are very creative with cooking can't wait to see what you cook next😁😁
Enjoy your explorations! I can't wait to stealth camp too.... I pick up my own promaster city next week 😊 The dogs and I hope to see you out there some day
Love seeing you and Rambo. Love you both. 🤎🇬🇧🤎
A potapasta! Yeah not illegal but all the “firsts” must feel a little like it. i get it.
I would so have my side door locked.
And i thought the 2 roof fans were enough?
Can a small clip on fan blowing towards the roof fan/vents help??
Yum italian food
I love Los Angeles so lively and colourful you and Rambo enjoy yourselfs
So much fun ! You’ll have to really watch Rambo with the heat and the wild things. Lol. Happy travels !
Awesome!
When I saw that deer’s bottom, I at first thought it was a baboon. I immediately flashed back to The Omen- the original- when Lee Remick and her little boy (AKA the antichrist) experienced the baboon wilding.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re okay cooking pasta in your van if there are people in tents all over the place.
Enjoyed the Hollywood sign adventure.
This looked like a nice road trip! Being in Florida, I have to be real careful with the heat with my boxer too😊
Boxers are very sensitive to heat...
Thank for sharing I love your video and your Rambo have a safe day
Van question. Is it a pain in the ass being seated while you cook? How wide is your foot area and how deep is your counter area and sofa?
Living the dream Will!
Love seeing you cook and eat in the van. Also, if you care to you can save some of the pasta water that you threw away and use it to flavor and liquefy any sauce/dish you are making.
Also, did not realize until just now that people who are operating in a van cannot stand up straight. Must be difficult.
Oh yes me to I never like sneak have nice day William see you next video
My kids and I went to the exact same spot about two years ago. That’s not an easy road to go up.
Great dog. I’ve had 3 boxers in my life
That is a Great Video !!
Hi William, Great trip! So nice you took us along. You are definitely living the life, so cool. Stay safe 💕
Amazing vid thanks.
Wow, that was hot for March!
Try adding your uncooked pasta noodles directly into the sauce on your hot logic. May need to add a little water, see if you can cook the pasta that way. Less clean up and no need to turn on fan.
I wondered where you had got to. No video for 13 days I was worried! Welcome back haha
I got sick at Morro Bay and had to drive back.. I made a community post about it.
@@WillandRambo oh I never saw. I hope you’re okay!
"We're always aware of where we're at " ...... Others aren't..... In regards to stealthing.
When we went there, it was weird because we hardly saw people due to the Covid-19 scare.
❤️❤️❤️
Can't believe how bad Hollywood Blvd has gotten since I lived there. I lived right where you were walking so know no one lived on the sidewalks back then.
Pitching a tint in the middle of the sidewalk where people walk was unexpected.
Remember, your taking everything from those filthy homeless packed streets, back into your " house" for a nice warm pitri dish effect....😃
(Coyotes x 2 at least )
Hi William just come across your channel very interesting video I'm from the UK where the van life community is increasing in popularity . I also had a look at your petrol head channel and have subscribed to both . Wishing you all the very best I have a lot of videos to view and 😁
Thank you for the subs!
Rambo goes to Hollywood LOL
I’m making a list of items I need when I start my journey. The besides the frig the hot logic is second. I love taking my dog to a park early in the morning before anyone else. Can’t believe there were two coyotes. Who would have thought? Never would of thought about encountering wild animals like that. Stay safe you two.
I hope, hope, hope people that live in their vehicles (it's the whole house) have KILL switches in them ... very well hidden ones.
I think people haven't had the balls to try what you just did..
Or didn't think about it..
Like parking in that high end neighborhood, might not be as easy, with a more beaten down van..
Great video! May I ask What gym you would recommend for vanlifeing? Thanks!
Hi William-great video. What you were calling a fox was a coyote. Good thing you brought Rambo inside. We found your channel recently due to the van and Rambo. We love boxers and have had several, however right now we are dogless. How did you get Rambo so well behaved? Our experience with Boxers has been they can be very unruly.
Boxers need a very strict protocol. They must learn that you're the boss very early in the relationship and maintenance training is a must (I train myself). Otherwise, they need many miles of walking per day.. letting them run around in the backyard doesn't count. There is so much to say but I'll leave it here.
@@WillandRambo thanks for the reply. It's obvious you know the breed and how to train them.
All dogs need to know you are the alpha.
Love the videos! Where do you store a spare tire and jack?
Spare tire is on my waistline and my friend Jack is doing well in New York.
I wouldn't go to la even if the trip was free
Los Angeles looks like a dump!
You got the rich and then the poor.. there is no middle.
I miss LA. How about a video with tips on stealth camping respectfully?
There is nothing to it. 1. Stay in your van and only open the door temporarily if you're cooking inside. 2. Leave early A.M. 3. Don't park anywhere that doesn't permit overnight parking. Keep it simple stupid.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏
FYI. Look closely at some of your videos, there a lots particles flying around dust dander down feathers whatever but that’s probably what’s giving you your dry throat cough allergy.
That’s everywhere not just vans.
I would have been a little worried walking round with a camera doesn't look the nicest of places...
Walking around in Hollywood with a camera is completely normal. Think about it.. lol
@@WillandRambo I was thinking more of it getting nicked 😁
They monitor the hills so I think a stealth camp might result in criminal charges
Lol no one will arrest you for sleeping in a Van.. in LA tents are pitched on sidewalks.. anyway.. Have you done anything exciting in life or too afraid?
@@WillandRambo sorry I misunderstood what you meant by stealth camping near the sign, I thought you were physically going to pinch a tent and stealth camp in the hills lol, and yeah I love camping but I haven't gone stealth camping yet but I really want to try it out this summer even if it's just in the back woods behind my house
Live a little.. worry less.
How often do you fill up on water?
Every 3-4 days
good job. question - how did you record when you and doggy walking?
I use a tripod and move the camera while I walk. Lots of work making these videos.
@@WillandRambo thank you for sharing. I thought your TV crew were following you or you set the camera on the other side of the road
Ditto don’t like snakes either. Ditto would NOT live in LA even if U paid me too, but once in awhile I don’t mind visiting tho. Btw, where do U use the restroom, in public parks?
Shopping centers in every corner. America is a mall.
There's orbs around you
Those are my alien friends
@@WillandRambo have fun with that. lol
Be a good place for "stealthing" as (Rich) people are NEVER home. .. (humor that's true)
Is there a reason you set your alarm for 7?
Life is lived awake.
Hi Will. I’m trying to judge how I would fit in your van. Would you mind sharing how tall you are? Thanks.
Honestly, if you'd like to get an idea. The best thing to do would be to go to a Ram dealership. Just tell them you're in the market for a Ram Promaster City and would like to see one and sit in it. They'll gladly let you do so. I went with the Ram Promaster 1500 with the 136 wheel Basr because I felt the City was a bit too small for me. Are you thinking about getting into Van Life Jay?
@@LifeWithRilla Hi - There doesn't seem to be any RAM Promaster City vans at dealers around in the Philly area. I am 6' tall and am wondering if your Promaster 1500 is a tall van and if you have done a conversion on it. Thanks, Bob
Considering it. Checking out an unfinished van, without the Cascade Camper additions, doesn’t tell me much.
@@boba6776 I haven't converted it but I know after many have there is still a lot of standing room. I'm 6 feet myself. I've still got time to get the funding together this year so I could actually do the conversion but I'll be documenting the process and my journey on this channel if you're interested. I love seeing other people also getting into it. I'll be creating a Discord Server for my community. I'd also like to add people on snapchat and relationships are built we could share our locations and meet up if we happen to be close to one and other... that way we could fend off the loneliness that some times comes with van life. Feel free to follow.
@@JTNorcross I mean since a lot of what cascade camper does, doesn't take away from height or floor width I would imagine it's not much different. But, it was just a suggestion bud.
Even the dog thinks he’s weird . .
Did you do your own build or did someone do it? Looking for something similar!
Where is he?
Hollywood, FL
@@markjung2766 a whole box of pasta?
@@markjung2766 Hollywood, California
I HATE snakes too, they r the ugliest creature on the planet. They have no arms or legs how creepy can ya get.
exactly.. no arms and legs... ughhh... creeeeeppyyyy lol
I would be too afraid, for getting recorded by the security cameras of the houses.
And the viewers becomes too afraid, because this is not usual.
Near the Hollywood Sign, it is protected by security.
Because in the past some letters got stolen. And a woman has done suicide by jumping down from the letter "H".
Its not illegal to sleep in your van/car.
@@WillandRambo I heard, it is illegal at many places in the USA, ie in cities.
A person were parked at a supermarket parking area, where overnights are not allowed. (But no signs for this)
The police wanted to check him.
So he jumps on his driver seat. So the police don´t find him sleeping.
Also some WalMart parkings are not allowed for overnights.
Reason: Too much littering in the past.
But in the Internet there is a homepage with a map of North America. It shows private grounds, where the owners allow overnights.
Overnights are also allowed at BML-Land.
It is public ground for Everybody.
Easy.. don’t sleep in shopping centers. Stick to public streets.
@@WillandRambo Ok, you are living there, and make your experiences.
Pink lipstick?
I thought that at first but thinks it's lip balm.
It was 15% humidity the entire week and my lips were cracked.. so I had lip balm on.. this is where my Illness began.. more on that later
Unsubscribing after the comment about the houseless tents. Too cold and uncaring for my viewing.
