2024 Acura Integra Type-S // New OEM Genuine Accessories | Vossen HF-5 (Part 2)

- In this episode of this series, we will start off with a few Acura Optional Accessories: Illuminated Door Sills, Premium Floor Mats, Type-S Trunk Tray, Premium Car Cover and Carbon Fiber Decklid Spoiler. We will also show you a quick way to give our Carbon Spoiler a few layers of protection and gloss.
Then we will install our next set of wheels: Vossen HF-5 in Matte Gunmetal. With this fitment, we were able to use the original Michelin PS4S from the stock wheels. A quick mount, balance and finished off with full ceramic coating by @turbowaxproducts .

Vossen wheels changed the complete look of the car from te37 which i think are better suited for the FL5. Mike are you concerned with the 40mm offset affecting the centerline and torque steer at all?

I saw one white Integra Type S with accessories with the carbon fiber mirror that sells for $65k at Acura Montano, that car looked awesome but expensive. Awesome video about the 18” vs 19” wheels and Vossen looked awesome than TE37 but both looked great. You guys should weight the 18” vs 19” as comparison. They do offer red interior, just not available in Apex Blue

Great look with the new vossen wheels! Really made the car come back together with a nice flair of the red center cap. Love the illuminated door sills as well.

i don't like how the decklid spoiler is just glued on nowadays. the Florida heat will leave it on the highway after a couple years I feel.
We feel the same. But with our experiences, once the area is prepped as directed, we have yet to see any lift off
Gunmetal is the perfect color to go with the Integra's blue, very nice set of wheels.
20 years back another inch lower would be 👌🏽 but I would definitely go with this stance now.

Great video man! Im not a fan of vossen, but they look good. Oh and i also sand and reclear anything and everything carbon fiber because of the brutal sunlight. I spied 👀 the rex in the clip!

Love the Vossen HF-5, but I don't like the center caps. It would be nice if the Acura center caps fit.
Love the Y spike wheel design. Reminiscent of the OG TSW VX-1 wheels back in the day! Only thing I don’t like on these is the little holes between the spokes. Will make them more difficult to clean. But ceramic coating helps I’m sure.
The pockets are the weight saving 😁

Vossen wheels look great! Very similar to the TLX type S wheels and old NSX. Do you guys know if the 20” TLX Type S wheels fit the Integra?
It will fit but it might a bit big. Also the TLX-S wheels are 9" in width vs the stock Integra Type-S wheels are 9.5" in width

We have the original Michelin PS4S, they are great tires. But Michelin Cup 2 or Perelli P-Zero are great option for high performance summer tires

We might be installing the front illuminated emblems after we removed the bumper for the PRLs intercooler. Hint hint for what’s coming up 🤙🏼

Carbon fiber rear spoiler looks awesome. Too bad you needed to drill new mounting holes. You would think since the carbon fiber spoiler is an oem item, it should have used the same existing mounting holes. That kinda sucked.
We were a bit shocked initially as well. But when we compared the two, the carbon version has a larger profile. Perhaps that could be the reason for that

PPF on the spoiler would of done the job
way better choice of wheels for this car, but i dunno, the gap between the fenders and wheels is still huge. Maybe its just how the car is designed,

How can you add power to them non turbo part of the engine?
You should have kept the Volk rims on because you ceramic them. I like one of a kind look and those Vossens look like the stock rims. What are you going to do with the Volks?
We ceramic coated the Vossen HF-5 as well. As for the TE-37, they are not going anywhere. We can switch them as often as we like :-)

For an Acura to not have air vents or usb's in the rear seat just bothers me. Also no power passenger seat? For 50k+ you couldn't just include a few of the carbon fiber accessories, an electric passenger seat, and a couple of vents with usb's in the back?! WTF?
Have to agreed with the rear air vents and usb outlet. As for the passenger seat, it geared toward weight saving, just like the sunroof delete
