    Have a great summer break, Barry. You really should do a video about your jewellery business. It could generate you a few sales.

    Have a great summer! When I was stationed at RAF Brize Norton, I would go to London once a month. To show you how English Breakfast has changed, my breakfast then was fried eggs, tomatoes, bacon or bangers,not both, & chips. No baked beans, no mushrooms, no black pudding. Of course, a pot tea. Coffee was not very good back then.

    I agree about the Canon Vixia (filter). Regarding the camera on a blackmagic or RED requires gaming like pcs to edit as Mac does not have collant power as said. I-Phone are micro technology and while 60fps and advertised 1080p lense they are quite 1080p due to compression and pixelation. Just youtube blackmagic vs iphone. Scan lines and warping of high detail textures on buildings. Good to see you back. Your Xmas vid is out of season for me and bad luck.

    I think Apple's M1 Pro, Max ARM chip is extremely efficient on video processing - fast and very low heat. Increase the ram. Maybe trade-in your current computer for a MacBook Pro laptop. The iMacs aren't really as capable as the MacBook pros.

    We all like your Christmas videos and the path you trod which Charles Dickens would have walked. Have you thought about retracing the steps of Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel, or is that just one step too far..

    How's going with the construction business, Downing Street is still fun at Parking? I've thought you were working at Merrill Lynch and not managing cat people accounts, lighters and accessories...

    I would ask yourself if you viewers need to watch your videos in 4K, or if it is you wanting to provide content in 4K. I watch on a laptop, 1020 is enough on a 13 inch screen.

    • @frfr335
      @frfr335 Před 2 lety +1

      Yep, i have to agree with that. Even if I watch YT on my non-4k TV, it's still perfectly fine at 1080. I don't have 4k eyesight!
      Are you using proxy files to edit as that saves a huge amount of processing power and might help with the over-heating issue. Since I switched to using them it's made editing much quicker and smoother.
      Edit: I should have added that high quality 1080 content is much better than low quality 4k content.
