Best example of how to use ChatGPT for writing I've seen so far. You can also paste in your story model template: Hero's Journey etc and have it fill in the necessary beats of the story.
I've always wanted to write a story that included all my grandchildren. I think this might get me going. Thanks a billion!
this is actually exactly what i was looking for when i decided to look into this. i just want to use it supplementary to my own writing, to help me smooth out ideas or entire story beats that i might not have any idea at all what the hell im doing with.
ChatGPT is a fantastic learning tool, giving everyone the opportunity to build on any concept. Please post more examples.

As a non-native English speaker, I sometimes turn to Chat GPT to polish up my short pieces of text. Pretty much like the assistant you described. That said, the interactive feature you showcased is absolutely amazing and a lot of fun to play with. Thank you, Gary!

I tried to do that when making this video and it was a little slow hearing me speak it out. But maybe I'll come up with something for future videos like this.

Hard to say if there will be a difference for you and what you are using it for. Maybe give it a try for a month and see?
Two thoughts: Can you show us how to speak to ChatGPT? (Speech to ChatGPT text). 2) ChatGPT might be good at turning an original story in to a screen play?
You can always use your Mac's dictation function to type (in any app or web form, not just this one). But if you want the voice back-and-forth then you'll either need an app to do that or to use ChatGPT's API and hook that into a Shortcut. But it isn't something most people would do.
Voice interaction would be a brillant feature but I am unsure how to do that on Safari /Mac ? ( for ChatGPT website only )
You can do it now with Shortcuts, but it takes some programming know-how. You have to use their API and hook into that. There will probably be some apps that do this for you coming out soon, I'm sure.

Not able to use ChatGPT as at capacity had to leave email address to join when get notified, been waiting 3 weeks already.
You have to go during low traffic times. Usually early in the morning, or late evening. You will never receive that email.
Are there different versions of ChatGPT? ‘Plus’? Is that a paid version?

In its story, The Guardian says, the Sci-fi mag, '...Clarkesworld halts pitches amid deluge of AI-generated stories.' AI generates text without thinking and it is only a human who can think! :-) You surprised me Gary with this story on ChatGpt and fiction! :-). I thought you were into everything about and of Apple, nothing else. 🙂
You better be careful with that last prompt. That is how Geordi LaForge created Professor Moriarty on the Enterprise. I love having ChatGPT as my virtual assistant while I am writing.
It will be helpful if you speak out the prompt otherwise we are looking at something with out any context.
You can see it typed out. I tried speaking it out, but the video got long and monotonous in this case.

No, I do NOT think this is good development.
Technology should free people from unpleasant work -- not take away careers doing things we enjoy.
This will apply to most creative professions, as well as 'knowledge workers' and really anyone who sits in front of a computer. Soon the computer won't need you.
Not to mention I hear GPT can be politically left bias, something I would not like.
