i know this was from a while ago but- im confused on how you got -11 from -5 and -5. (number 6) im still learning how to do this and im confused, but also thank you , you helped understand this on the other ones.

I believe for number 6, you take -6 and subtract the 5 to get -11.

Wait, why is it for number one subtract 2 (from the right side) from both sides, but in question 2 you add 6 (from the left side) on both sides? that makes no sense, why aren't u adding 5 to both sides instead?

You can start by adding 5 if you would like to. Just remember our goal is to isolate the variable.
