Sorry, but I have to correct you on several things.
1. "Table cloth" is the cloth we put on a table. This item is called the "Napkin". And you must not open it covering your face etc., instead it should be discreetly opened, preferably below the table level. Because it is considered a personal item.
2. There are only two positions for cutlery. That is "still eating" which is upturned V position and "finished position" which is parallel position, which can be straight or at an angle. Cutlery is never kept horizontally.
3. This is actually called "Dining Etiquette", which means "the proper manners while dining". So "the meal is not tasty" or "very tasty" is not a thing which indicate manners. The correct approach is you must always thank the host after the meal. In a hotel it can be waiting staff who would intern communicate to the chef. The picture you show about "cutlery positions" is a wrong information which is widely circulated on Facebook. I believe this is an "Indian" origin idea. "Dining Etiquette" was originated in countries such as England with the Royal family and France with their Duchess and Dukes. South Asians have no idea about such practises.
4. If the soup is too hot you shouldn't chat with others because they should be allowed to enjoy their soup. What you need to do is take very small portions to the spoon and carefully have it.
5. As for soup - when it is in a bowl - we have it and not "drink" it. It is the wrong term.
6. Talking about 'American' and 'Continental' or 'British' style, there are differences in the way you hold the knife. Changing hands is only an option in 'American' style.
7. You certainly don't take "Coffee or Tea" with dessert. "Tea coffee" is optional and served separately. Dessert is accompanied by Wine when the "food pairing" takes place. Here are some examples.
Chocolate Chip Cookies - Cabernet Sauvignon.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Pinot Noir.
Brownies - Merlot.
Vanilla Cake - Chardonnay.
Red Velvet Cake - Red Velvet Wine.
Chocolate Cake - Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cheesecake - Riesling.
Pumpkin Pie - Sherry.
Important: It would be good to verify things before you publish on social media as many people get mislead. Sri Lankans are in terrible misunderstandings due to such misguiding.

You are correct. But the way she explained is easy to follow someone who has no idea what to do with cutlery . At least if ppl follow those basics ,waiters life will be much easier too🙂.
@@inokaangammana7182 But the problem is there are many wrong things which are communicated in this country and many are mislead. For example pronunciation of the word 'chef' is wrongly used in this country simply because the electronic media is using it in the wrong manner. So someone needs to correct these.
