- Hey everyone! I'm posting this one a little bit later than I had hoped because... well.. I'm lazy hahaha. We're on day 6 of a nationwide lockdown here in NZ so hopefully I can manage to get heaps of filming and editing done in my time spent at home. But we'll see about that lol.
I decided to do a video of lip swatches of the new MAC Lustreglass Lipstick range because everyone has seemed to be loving this release so much! I love the way they feel on the lip and they pack so much punch in terms of colour payoff. A real win-win situation!
My favourite shades are (there are a lot): Thanks, It's MAC!, $ellout, Hug Me, Femmonenom, Mars To Your Venus & Posh Pit :)

Love the marketing angle on MAC products, how they choose a popular phrase and sling a slight twist on it , some beautiful shades perfectly modelled 💋💋💋
Syrup is my fav lipstick ever. So glad they kept it.
It's such a classic! Some of the other lustre shades are gone now which is sad but such a good choice to keep Syrup!

Honestly, I have never had such a love-hate relationship with a company before! Mac has some of the best products I’ve ever tried in my life, but then they always take those products away from me! I’m watching this video that’s posted a year ago and already some of these beautiful shades are discontinued😡
Thanks for a great video! Liked the way you did the swatches with both a close up and some distance. I have already bought 2 lipsticks and absolutely love the formula. Doesn't crease on my lips at all.

I use Sellout! love it. It looks exactly like my natural lip color. It just smoothes out my lips.

Thank you very much for this video, I like The business casual or Spice or up. I love Marakesh but I find it too drying so looking for a shade similar, not sure which one to go for.
You’re very welcome! A fan of the warm browns too I see. You should try “Marrakesh me later” it’s the Love Me lipstick version of marrakesh, so it’s a glossy, hydrating finish but with a lot of coverage.

Oh yes, sell out is one of my faves! And see sheer is a classic 🙌🏻 thank you :) I actually used the matte bronze bronzer by MAC as my eyeshadow. I love using bronzers and blushes on the eyes!

What are your personal thoughts on "Thanks its MAC" shade? Thinking of buying! Im a super pale girl.
It’s such a nice shade! Definitely one of my faves. It’s really good for something a bit softer that you can wear every day :)

No worries! It’s actually a bit more on the warm side I reckon, it has a bit of a pink undertone. Bad n bare is a really nice cool tone nude, it’s not a lustreglass lipstick but it’s still really creamy :)
