In my opinion the most underrated of the Terminator movies.
I like salvation because it gives us a good look at this future war that has been talked about since the first movie.
It's too bad they weren't able to not contradict Kyle Reese saying in Terminator 1 how the T-800 was sent through time (the only time machine) because the Resistance had smashed the defence grid and won the war, and it was their only chance, to re-write history where they don't lose to the humans. It was accounted for in books that follow T2, but not any of the films. But, whatever, I'm fine with that. It doesn't really matter. Plus, it's not like anyone (well, if there are people, it is a vast minority) who hold any of the movies post T2 in the same regard as T1/2. So, the bar isn't as high. I still much prefer the books that follow T2 and the TV series that follows T2 over the movies that do, but I enjoy everything Terminator.
I just started playing Terminator Resistance on PC, and despite not having the best reviews, I am having a blast.
Underrated and with the most dope theme, it's a shame Salvation has no sequel.
Originally it was supposed to be the beginning of a three part series like the OG 3, but well it turned into this and then 2 garbage reboot PC nonsense.
It's actually very faithful to the previous movies. It shows how John Connor saved the first humans from the prison camps like Kyle talked about in the first movie. And we also see how John got the scars on his face that we see in the flashback scene in T2. And you gotta love the more gritty look of the machines from the early years of the war. Personally this is my favorite Terminator movie after the first two. Even though I liked the plot of T3, the casting of John Connor in that movie was not very good I think.
Agreed.
Would that be a flashback or a flash-forward?(Well technically, in Kyle`s case the Future War scenes in the First Film as my dad pointed out were flashbacks from his POV but flashforwards from ours).
Also the Terminators being able to impersonate human voices even in endoskeleton mode was first done with Cromartie/the T-888 in an episode of "Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles".
_Salvation_ is clearly set in a different timeline than the one Kyle travelled back from in the first movie though. In this timeline, Judgment Day was delayed until 2003, whereas it happened in 1997 in the timeline Michael Biehn's Kyle came from. And in this timeline, T-800s were already being manufactured in 2018, whereas they they were a new model in 2029 in the old timeline.
@@sexistatheist6464 Well, ya. As I said, the postponing of Judgment Day after 2 allowed for the creation of a smarter, more advanced Skynet than the original late Cold War-era supercomputer.
Anton Yelchin, who played Kyle Reese is an amazing actor. He's one of my favourite actors. But unfortunately he passed away in a rather bizarre and tragic accident in 2016. There was a fault with his car, and after he parked it in his driveway, it rolled down the steep incline and trapped him against a brick pillar gatepost. He died of blunt traumatic asphyxia. He was aged twenty-seven.
He's in *Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)* and *Star Trek Beyond (2016).* He's also in *Fright Night (2011)* and bunch of other movies. I first saw him in the television miniseries *Taken (2002).* I highly recommend watching him in anything he's in.
*Terminator Genisys* was released in 2015, the year before Anton Yelchin passed away, but it's a reboot so he doesn't feature in the movie.
I do like *Terminator Salvation* despite its flaws. And Linda Hamilton even returned to voice Sarah Connor recording new dialogue for the tapes that John listens to. It tries to do something different, and continue the story, so I really appreciate that.
I love the fact the scar the molten t800 gives him exactly the same as the scar on the older john connor in the opening of t2
So just so you know, all of the machines are Terminators. Most of what people think of as a Terminator are the infiltration models, but there are actually a lot of different models. This movie is also a nice look into the development stages of the Terminators of which there are many notable flaws. The T-600 for example was originally meant as an Infiltration Model but it's bulky size and rubber skin made it a dead giveaway so they basically gave up on it, strapped a Mini-gun and grenade launcher to it and sent it out as a regular foot soldier. Also yeah, this would be about 11 years before Kyle Reese travels back in time. The small amount of plasma weapons is also a hint at development flaws because most of them are large cannons that fire a large blast instead of a concentrated beam. Because a lot of people say this Future War is a lot different then the previous movies Future War scenes, but that's because this takes place earlier than those scenes did. So btw, the T-800 or Arnold Terminator would be the newest model in this timeline, not in the slightest bit out dated.
This is earlier in the timeline, but T2 also demonstrated that the future changes with alterations to the past.
I think you're mistaken on the Terminator designation. Terminators are infiltration units; there's really not much other reason for making them humanoid. Look at modern semi-autonomous weapons systems (please do, BTW; they're scary as hell and essentially unregulated. Oxfam has some terrifying research on the subject). They don't look like people, for good reason; humans aren't especially combat-effective. Also, the name doesn't make much sense for a non-infiltrator; do we really need to specify that the machines in general are trying to kill humans? Seems kinda obvious. An infiltrator Terminator, on the other hand, is designed for exactly what it says on the tin; the termination of difficult targets. I know we see Terminator-style endoskeletons on the battlefield, but that seems likely to be an artifact of whatever programs the humans had Skynet working on before it took over. If you have a factory for making metal people and you have a war to fight, you're going to fight it partially with metal people. It just makes sense.
@@michaelccozens Terminators are all of the Skynet robots. There are also infiltration units, like the T-800, which are still Terminators. It's just what they're called, man.
oh man you just made me drool with a SEQUEL to salvation
I was so hyped for it back in 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, as some channel pointed out, it should have had mostly night scenes, to be faithful with the Future War scenes of T1 and T2.
By the way the chromatic aesthetics is something they totally missed starting with T3. T2 was an ode to Mondino Blue. If T3 didn't have a dork version of John Connor, and a blood-licking-with-a-psycho-smirk T-X, it would have been a very good movie. I just picture it with a young adult closer to Christian Bale and retaining parts of Edward Furlong. And the T-X actress should have taken lessons with Robert Patrick!!!!
No amount of SFX or gazillion-dollar rampage in the streets could make up the damage they did to the true nature of John Connor and of Terminators. Also pushing the silly jokes too far was over the top.
@@michaelccozens basically terminator refers to the mainline foot soldiers of skynet which were made humanoid to be compatible with existing military equipment used by human soldiers. The T-70 was the first humanoid terminator used by cyberdyne systems before the war to impress military investors though didn’t see much action outside of guarding facilities. None of the terminators even tried to appear human until the t-600 but was huge with rubber skin so it didn’t work well. Regular t-800s are used as generic soldiers and much weaker and stupider compared to the infiltrator t-800. T-800 infiltrators were powerful, durable, independent, and could learn new behaviors and techniques in the field. T-900 was created as a full upgrade to the t-800 that was made as an anti terminator terminator to counter t-800s getting reprogrammed by the resistance. T-1000 was a bleeding edge prototype still in development that was rushed out at the last second by skynet in the OG timeline.
After 1 and 2 this is the only one worth to be called a terminator movie... It really was a good flick different but good... Bale was top
RIP Anton Yelchin
Honestly love this film, iss the only Terminator sequel that isn’t just prevent Judgement Day AGAIN, it actually showed what the future war in the post-apocalypse looks like. Sure it wasn’t the classic purple lasers and chrome terminators depicted in the originals, but it was a more gritty, realistic, and at times kinda scary reimagining and I’m all for that
I don't have a problem with the altered future. T2 already established that altering the past changes the future timeline. Using modern units and tactics made the warfare a lot more real and a lot less cartoony than the Cameron version (which I love, but it does look like a video game at times).
I always figured there were no purple lasers because it was the future but not too far in the future
@@michaelccozens I know I love the gritty military feel of this future. Would still love to see something like Salvation only set during that more cartoony 80’s purple lasers future tho.
@@memestopicxd7649 that actually makes a lot of sense too
@@barakaafrobama6519 Doesn't Salvation have a bit of that? Thinking of the sneak-attack raid on the camp. I agree with your point, though. This may be opening a whole can of worms, but; multiverse? "John Connor: No Way Home".
The most underrated Terminator movie, and one of the better ones.
If you recall the first film, the dreams that Reese has which shows us what his future was like, they have those big machines like the aerial hunter killers and the tank hunter killers. So I like that this film kept in line with the type of development that Skynet would have made by this time. I think that Marcus was the prototype for putting skin on the T-800s so he was the start of Skynet learning how to manufacture them to look like Arnold, to look human and infiltrate like he did in the first film. Also, genuine question if someone knows in case I missed it, but how does Skynet know that Reese is Johns dad? Sarahs not dumb enough to put him on the birth certificate so it's not like Skynet accessed public-type records. Those commanders know about John being the prophesied leader of the resistance etc but they don't know who Reese is so it's not like Skynet intercepted that communication. I can only imagine some Terminator overheard John playing his tapes. Finally, RIP Anton Yelchin.
It probably has something to do with the fact Skynet`s now a military-made computer virus rather than a military-made,corporate-distributed, late Cold War-era defense system like its original counterpart giving it access to types of technology, information and different timelines it wouldn`t have had originally allowing it to learn from its previous incarnations` mistakes and learn things about its enemies its previous incarnations did not know.
Good question! At a guess, I'd imagine that all those prisoners in the camps weren't treated with tender mercy. Skynet likely has an extensive interrogation program, and would be extremely interested in any info on John Connor. Still, they could easily have put in a scene explaining this; maybe a shot of an interrogation room as they stormed the camp?
RIP Anton, and RIP Stan Winston, who worked extensively on the Terminator series, the Alien series, the Predator series, Jurassic Park, and many others. The guy's responsible for like half of our pop-culture.
@@michaelccozens Earlier screenplays and comics did describe the Machines` interrogation methods in greater detail, however it was cut from the Final Film out of respect for the descendants of similar genocides and crimes against humanity in history.
I think some of the designs like the T600 are well done and in line with the type of technology Skynet would have at this time, but that giant Transformer doesn't fit at all lol. Should have been replaced by a big hunter killer tank. One of the knocks on Salvation is they definitely tired to market to much younger children and this is a result. That thing belongs in the Transformer films, not Terminator lol.
Time paradox here. John Connor's existence/Kyle Reese's & the T1's time travel, chicken-and hen conundrum standing on its own legs.
If we really want to rationalize it, I guess Skynet may have found the police and psychiatric ward files on Sarah Connor, mentioning this strange vagrant whose astonishing rant on Skynet was taped on VHS and probably heavily documented, especially in psychiatric circles.
Dr Silberman in T1: "This is great stuff. I could make a career out of this guy!"
I'm just realizing that in fact it may even have done just that for him: promoting him from lowly police precint shrink, to director of Pescadero State Hospital...
In fact, in the real world, the more a researcher is cited by his peers, the more recognition he gets, and the more that research is cited in new scientific papers ; it totally snowballs. In other words, Kyle Reese may have been mentioned all over the place by psychiatric researchers, and this in turn makes it more likely the documents survived Judgment Day. Especially if Judgment Day has been postponed until after the advent of (civilian) internet : before internet you'd pretty much have scientific papers about Kyle and/or Sarah printed on paper somewhere in the Los Angeles area. After the internet, it may end up anywhere on the planet.
If those files survived Judgment Day, Skynet knows exactly that Kyle Reese is a time traveller who fucked them up in 1984. They may not know that he is Connor's father though.
Despite its flaws it was interesting to have a Terminator set Entirely in the Future War. An Alternative ending had John Connor being killed and MArcus Wright assume his identity becoming the leader of the human resistance, the information leaked fans were angry so it was changed. because it didn't meet expectations with box office or its reception there's no sequel, supposedly there's a comic book that completed the story. The first 20 minutes of the next film Terminator Genisys alternative timeline essentially portray the 2029 war, the defeat on SkyNet, Arnold Terminator being sent to 1984 to Terminate Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese volunteering to protect her, except instead of playing out like the original film its a new timeline.
Am I the only person that actually enjoys Genisys? Sure it's not T2, but it's a fun action film regardless.
@@eliaspeter7689 I notices the occasional fan mentioning they enjoy it in isolation of the series as a an off shoot action movie. Its honely annoying how Terminator Salvation didn't exactly feel like a continuation of Terminator 3Rise of the Machines and was more stand alone, TerminatorGenisys disregarded TerminatorSalvation, and TerminatorDark Fate disregarded Genisys, Salvation, Genisy and Dark Fate, a Terminator trilogy of movies unconnected to one another each a failed attempt at starting a trilogy.
@@eliaspeter7689 Sure, but it didn't need to be a Terminator movie. It also made no sense on its own logic. You can have fun action *and* a reasonable plot. It's not a lot to ask, really.
Eh, I'm with the fans on that one. You can't kill off John Connor before he has a chance to extensively-instruct Kyle Reese on his mission to save Sarah, and you can't really do that until Reese is at least a little closer to his age in T1. John knows Kyle is his father, but Kyle doesn't know that, and John has to made sure he is, in fact, conceived. Kinda weird playing sex-wrangler for your mom, let alone doing it for her past self, but the future demands strange things.
The last good movie in the Terminator series. Excellent in visuals, sound, and what used animatronics. Stan Winston's latest work.
I would like to see the continuation of the war of the future, but alas. 7/10.
I agree man
There's actually a comic that continues this timeline. Personally I loved it, but I won't say more because spoilers. It's called Terminator Salvation The Final Battle, I don't remember how many issues there are but it is compiled into two comic books. Highly recommend it, it's true to the timeline and yet it stands on its own with a story unlike what came before, while fully respecting what came before.
This movie was a bit all over the place for me, but it had some cool ambitions and good moments, and some nice touches. I like the fight where Marcus (before we really know he's a Terminator) saves that woman from the group of creeps, you can really sense the sheer weight of his body (as it is 95% or whatever metal) in just the way he takes hits from the guys, and the impact his hits have on them. :)
I always liked this one. It was the terminator world, but from a different angle than the first few.
Can you please watch pirates of the Caribbean please!!’
This movie gets a lot of flack from terminator fans but I appreciate it for what it is. It could easily be a non-terminator film with some tweaks but it is what it is.
I really like the concept of the T-hybrid in this movie. I wish we'd seen more of it and more of Marcus's character
The actor playing Kyle Reese sadly died in a accident where he got pinned between his jeep and a steel gate, an actor taken way too soon
I have to say that I hadn't seen this one again since back when it came out and I'm kind of surprised that it's much, much better than I remembered it.
Terminators are made from Hyperalloy which is a fictional material that supposedly contains Coltan as a component to add heat resistance. Coltan is refined into metallic tantalum which is used in the hyperalloy meaning the metal likely has a melting point approaching 5,463 degrees F. Depending on what liquid metal was in the forge its possible the temperature was low enough to have basically no effect on the Hyperalloy.
thanks for that info! However if one was to nitpick, there are a couple cables visible in the articulations, so these would likely be busted. But OH WELL. That scene was legendary! Especially with the scarring in the end.
I'd forgotten that the late great Anton Yelchin was in this as young Kyle Reese. Very morbid thought, but weird to think that he was killed by a failing machine.
This film's ending is the second one they filmed. Before the film was released they teased an "ending you'll never see coming." Originally, John does die from the stab wound, but to keep the "hope" alive and make sure everything that needs to be done in another 10 years to send the correct people and machines back in time, Marcus wears John's skin and pretends to be John. Then someone leaked the ending on reddit and they quickly had to re-edit and film new shots to make the ending you saw.
This film was going to be part one of three, covering the entire war from beginning to end. But the film wasn't financially successful so the next film was a reboot.
Every post T2 sequel was meant to start a new trilogy. Which is part of the reason they all feel so hollow and all feel like set up films.
oh man why oh why!!!!!!!!!
23:15 cut from the movie was the Sequel plot, other Humans like Marcus were turned Terminator by choice, these ones sent Marcus and the Doctor he knew was supposed to be now the leader of them and Skynet, after monitoring Marcus and how they say he was a success they began taking live humans to replicate them into T-800s and T-700s like Marcus. The next movie would have been about stopping them and actually winning the war and could have shown John meet/ send Kyle Reese back to 1984
welcome to the last WATCHABLE Terminator movie
Hey, T6 is a damn good movie. Not the best, but it's better than T3 and T5 by a landslide, and slightly better than T1.
@@TKDragon75 you mean WOKE FATE? NO!
@@TKDragon75 Dork fate was trash, copied T3, Salvation and Genysis plot points, and failed to execute them.
No arnold and them spoiling the main twist in the trailer put me off of this movie when it came out but its not as bad as i remember it tbh
I liked how they had the Terminator/human hybrids like in the comics that were released before T2. Those comics even had T800s that evolved beyond the SKYNet programming.
I could never figure out how Skynet knew about Kyle Reese, to mark him as a priority target --unless it had the previous films in its databanks.
Maybe he was priority due to killing alot of terminators. Or in terminator 3 when the TX interacted with past skynet she gave some infom
For everyone who watched Terminator Salvation by the time you’ve seen the 1st three films, the Terminator 5 and 6 that never was and should have been was able to get the graphic novel treatment as Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle.
It wraps up the OG Terminator saga that James Cameron and Gale Ann Hurd helped to establish back in 1984. Ties in with the continuity with Terminator 1984, Judgement Day and Rise of the Machines perfectly.
Please check it out
If you're wondering why the Terminator didn't melt from the molten metal, it's because this is a T-800, the one from Terminator 3, the one in terminator 2 is a T-101
Not exactly, complete terminator unit made from rare and durable alloy and it can't be melted down instantly with raw or lower quality alloys that have lower melting temperature and getting lower instantly once it getting out of the furnace. Sarah Connor Chronicles TV show has detailed explanation about this stuff.
Actually, this is a T-RIP, the prototype for the T-800 (which stands for Terminator Resistance Infiltrator Prototype). The Terminators that Arnold plays in Terminator 1 and 2 actually are T-800s and the model he plays in Terminator 3 is a T-850. Arnold actually plays a T-800 Cyberdyne Systems Model 101. The 101 refers to the type of skin that the T-800 Endoskeleton wears. So, all CSM-101s look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, while the CSM-102 looks like someone else. This was clarified by James Cameron.
No, the one in T2 is also a T-800. he's a T-800 Model 101, which is the same or similar to the one in T1.
@@paulpenna5615 Lol maybe the 102 looks like Danny Glover
this movie is just awesome!!!! a lot of better than the previous one when John Connor always looked scared and lost
T-H is a low level T-800, but with organs and memories/emotions.
Has nobody realized that the submarine captain is Sam Fisher?
I don’t care what anyone says this is one of my favorite terminator movies
That shot where Sam Worthington is being shot. At by John in the Huey reminds me a lot of the. Huey chopper gunner in Black Ops 1
Damn, I forgot Anton Yelchin was in this. :'(
Not a future war what i wanted to see not enough purple lasers and chrome endoskeletons but atleast had some cool ideas like hybrid terminators my favorite part of the movie was when arnold appeared seeing bad arnie/t800 reminded us how menacingly strong the t800 are.
I think there was meant to be two more sequels as we reach into the purple laser era. Keep in mind that it's set in 2018, while the laser thing are in 2029.
For I thought there will be no Model 101 in "Terminator: Salvation" movie. When John Connor met the Model 101 the evil robot, I said to myself, "No way!"
Because I thought Model 101 has been terminated since the first movie. But I spoke to soon
I think Terminator Salvation is super underrated.
I prefer the scrapped ending where they put John Conner’s face on the Terminator, and then he becomes the leader of the resistance. I think it makes more sense, especially since the heart transplant definitely wouldn’t have worked.
Thanks, Timothee! 🦾
Interesting fact - those iron slams from T2 is just cast iron pan hitting microphone, proof that masterpiece can be made literally from anything

In fact, this film takes the 2nd place after Judgment Day among my favorites about the Terminator. I like the idea of making a person a robot and he does not know that he is a robot. And to be honest I like Marcus more than even John Connor as a character. New types of Terminators, the appearance of the T800 is an excellent introduction
The perfect spy is the spy who doesn't even KNOW he's a spy. The concept was developed in the film The Manchurian Candidate. In fact it's so famous I know that because it's become an expression, but I have yet to see that film
In case you didn't, which you probably already know by now😂, they are different types of machines, but the terminators as made for infiltration, so they are like the assassins, and the older versions of the terminators are sent to fight in the field
16:19 Rip Saab 900
20:12 “Oh..” 🤣 You are too much 😆
Nice video and hi Tim
I would say this movie is a sequel to 3 as Bale took over for Stahl and Howard took over Danes. John's wife is Kate which was established in 3.
100%. It's absolutely trying to continue the story from 3. Kate is proof
the order from best to worst imo is t2, t1, t4, t3, dark fate, genysis
Wow, I'm glad you hearted my comment. I will subscribe to your channel because of that. I guess you share my opinion as to the order from best to worst terminators.
I despised Dark fate.
One can think whatever they want about the movie but Christian Bale is always good. That dude can’t miss
The ending is only the beginning of something greater.
Good reaction this one is different it was during war against the machines can't wait see your reactions to final to films also cool Arnold in way
When you reach the last one, Terminator: Dark Fate, forget about T3, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys. Terminator: Dark Fate is completely disregarding the movies after T2 and is a direct sequel to T2 featuring Arnold, Linda Hamilton etc.
great movie , that last of the good ones
I love this one so much.
Yes another video 😁
I’ll say it again and again:
Watch the TV show: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Probably the best iteration of terminator yet
Also this movie takes HUGE swaths of story ideas from The Sarah Connor Chronicles and tries to compress them.
I thought THIS Terminator had some good ideas, especially the Death row, guinea pig stuff, plus I didnt see the signal blocking trap coming, the symbolism. of the 7ft clanky robot being destroyed by the more average height now fleshed over brand new Arnie worked well also, there is also the clinical Lab, contrasting with the oily steamy hot factory where the T800s are made, yes there are strong undertones of MAD MAX about it all, but it worked for the 1st all out Terminator war film
Been watching all your animated reactions and just saw this pop up, glad to see you're carrying on with the franchise, regardless of opinions. 😂
Never hated this one, it gets too much hate, I just think If this movie had the same future war aesthetic as the original 2 movies it would have done alot better, it just doesn't look like the futer war that had been set up, I do still love the finalle of this one though. 😂💜
If the first movies were some kind of noir sci-fi, starting from the third one it became an action film.
T2 is one of the greatest action films ever made. T1 is like a Sci-Fi / Action / Slasher film, but T2 traded in the horror and doubled down on the action.
The extended Director's Cut is a little better, and this film is easily the best after Terminator 2; had this focused more on the story and characters, while keeping a more mature tone like the first two, this would've been even better
Such a good movie 💜💜
B)
I like the idea that the future is getting changed with the mainline movies
In this the TH (Sam Worthington's infiltration unit) wasn't ever mentioned because the future is getting changed right before their eyes
that "It's worse" line from John earlier is him realizing that.
If I were to make a Terminator sequel I would pick up right after Salvation and get into how the phased plasma rifles with the Violet colours
3
If I had to end the series I would go into a story about every reality/timeline/universe where Judgement day happens and
there's a chance to end every trace of it break every cycle. but at the price of existence sounds insane but that's how I would have ended the series for good.
1
If I were to start from scratch on a new timeline it would be set during the future war but almost nothing would be related to John or Sarah,
much to the tone of the future war scenes from T1 I think it would benefit the series to return to basics but not in the present day
2
I really like Terminator Salvation it got a bad rap but it wasn't as much of a mess as Genisys or Dark Fate
It was supposed to start a trilogy but it got mixed reactions from audiences or critics or both
The future war setting is very interesting and fascinating. Bale did a GOOD John Conner so i enjoyed it. 7.5/10 my review score.
Yeah think about it, right now there’s submarines from many different countries underwater so if a nuclear apocalypse happened they would survive with a military crew so after judgment day John and Kate was in the military Bunker and talked to all the military personnel and private citizens that were in places that they survived the nuclear apocalypse the machines carried out, and they started recruiting to form the human resistance
Movie is fun, has nice concepts.
Love your reaction ❤ .
Thanks!
good reaction tim
After Terminator 2 this was the way to go, show the war of the future, what remained to be told what would happen in the future with the war against the machines, unfortunately the rest of the film returned the formulas of Terminator 1 and 2 and with lower quality.
This is my favorite Terminator movie.
That poor Huey helicopter

Following Terminator 3, Terminator Salvation showcases the upgraded T1s, the hulking T-600s (which wear unconvincing rubber masks and tattered clothing), the smaller T-700 endoskeletons, Moto-Terminators, and Marcus (Sam Worthington), a human-Terminator hybrid, who unknowingly carries a chip that allows Skynet to control him. In a turn of events, Marcus rejects the chip and opts to help John Connor (Christian Bale) in battle. Going so far as to donate his heart to save John's life.

That cycborg ok!
This is one of my favorite movies in the saga, but I think that after the next movie the saga declines
If this was released instead of dark fate it would’ve been incredible
Arnold wasn't in this movie cuz he was the mayor of Pennsylvania so he's not in this movie at all cuz he was mayor of Pennsylvania so he couldn't be in this movie
Please watch Jumanji and Jumanji The next level
Man, you can try Gantz-O, is in CGI adaptation of a Manga (Gantz) the movie is 1 of the mission of the Manga (An adaptation of the mission). Is frkng cool, if you wat a try, that is a good optión.
well only this movie was great after T2. directed by Mc G he used silver in developing certain shade of color for this movie. i am not sure where they use that silver i have very light memory of that interview i watched long time ago.
This movie got so much hate, but it's honestly my favorite Terminator movie
I really enjoyed this movie. It's exciting, I enjoyed the story. I do wish they had continued the story from here instead of Genisys and Dark Fate, though I did like those as well. I didn't like them as much as this. I think this is my 3rd favorite. Terminator 2, Terminator, the Salvation, Dark Fate, Genisys, the Terminator 3. T3 is the only one that I actively skip when I watch the series.
Terminator 4 isn't bad, it actually gets better as the years go by, it tried something new, sadly they didn't continued with that, they literally started over and turned John Connor to a girl
The plot was so-so, but they finally showed the future
@@zarakix And they used tons of practical effects.
I loved this movie as a kid. Ya know what I didn't love? The PS3 game
the Kyle Reese actor died right?😔 At a young age...
I rlly recommend watching cruella the movie I just saw it it’s so good
4:33 Well going from 2003 to 2018 bit more than 5 years easy mix up Timothee, they technically made the film in 2008 and released 2009 its set in the then future 2018 which is now ironically the past, though we're sort of in an apocalyptic ordeal how things went in 2020.
Not so fun fact about this movie, you can find on YT a recording of Christian Bale raging at a crew because that guy keep moving stuff during a serious scene where Christian needed to focus. It shows you how professional he is.
That’s rewriting history. That angry outburst almost cost him his career. It showed how abusive Bale can be.
Here is the link if someone want to listen to it. czcams.com/video/0auwpvAU2YA/video.html
Dear CZcams, please stop randomly unsubscribing me from channels. #MyMouseMyChoice
Agreeed
You could outrun a T-600, but not an 800 as easily.

We'll all say it, you simply cannot top T2. Having said that, I actually liked this one a lot! My personal favorite after T2 and T1 is Genesys.
Can’t wait to see you watch the last 2 sequels from terminator next time.
Plz don't
Nice.
Ah yes the last great terminator film
a nice movie (watched as stand alone), with good potentials to be better though
Tim, you have a gaming channel or something? I see you really digging Terminator universe, you should try out Terminator: Resistance game. After Salvation movie it should be a perfect timing.
This movie is flawed I mean very flawed but still fun to watch. If only we got a sequel instead of what we got in the next two movies terminator genesis and dark fate. Those two are the worst. 1:05 no this movie continues after the last movie. The next movie on the other hand I don't think so it's more of a soft reboot. 1:17 remember what the Terminator said in the last movie even if it's a recon from the 1st 2 movies you can't fix judgment day it's meant to happen. You can't stop it. 7:06 oh hi Terry Crews nice to see you
I think this movie basically killed the Terminator TV series over rights to franchise. (Maybe someone can correct me on that). While the show had its issues.. it was just getting good when canned.
@@menolikey_ I forgot about that show then again so did fox and almost everyone else thanks for bringing it up
@@Godzilla-tu2cd it was just getting into its stride and.. blammo... Cancelled. Some blame the Summer Glau curse.
