As the Nikon-cloud connection is available in the Z 6iii per Ricci's initial statement, the question now is when it will be available in a firmware update to the other Z cameras like Z 9 and Z 8.
Considering the recent firmware update (2.1 IIRC, maybe 2.0.1) to the Z 8, I'm now thinking that Nikon might have already put it in this release like an Easter egg that pops up after a certain date.

Hello Ricci, These seem very interesting, I am sure there will be more then one or two questions, Like I i connect my camera to my iPhone can will this system allow me to use the Nikon Imaging Cloud? and do you know and can you see in there will be firmware update to the reset of the Z system cameras? Are the Recipes that you store on the cloud save for 30 days only or? Thank once more for the information.

I think I'd find this useful if/when I get a new Z camera. Now I've used SnapBridge to remotely take pictures and to add GPS information with Z 5

It will be on the z7iii z8ii z9ii etc. we will find out in the next few weeks if there is a firmware update for z7ii, z8, z9. I guess that Nikon will wait and see if there and bugs or issues with z6iii first

Two (probably) deal breakers for me with Nikon Imaging Cloud. 1. No link to Apple iCloud; and, 2. Can't use SnapBridge while connected to Nikon's cloud. I'd rather have those tiny GPS marked SnapBridge files (almost) instantly to send to friends and social media, and if I am going to be out for awhile, a card reader to load the original RAW files to a device connected to Apple iCloud, or Adobe Light Room Creative Cloud. Also, based on my experience with NIKON IMAGE SPACE, Nikon does not have the best track record for reliable web interface. Just my opinions, of course, and my experiences.

    This is great stuff!
One question: If I am reformatting my CF Express / SD cards on the camera, will the system warn me, if any images haven't yet been uploaded to the Imaging Cloud? It would be nice, if it could have an option to (at least) make me confirm that I'm OK with deleting un-uploaded images.

Hi Ricci very interesting. I’m taking it you have to do this with each camera body that I have?

Thanks Ricci, a kind of separate, but related question, can the Nikon Cloud WiFi connection on the Z6III connect to a camera WiFi Hotspot? I work in remote areas a lot without a regular WiFi connection and rely on the camera's hotspot. When I do a search on the camera in the Imaging Cloud WiFi settings menu, only my home WiFi connection shows up.

shame its only for the Z6ii. Would make life a lot easier for all Z users if it could be migrated.
