Can you do a follow up video now that you've used it?
Loved this overview. Glad you gave visuals of individual pages. Would enjoy knowing how it worked out for you, esp with the S.C.M. science at the same time. I'm considering the same thing for 2022.
Thanks for sharing this thorough flip through! I like how you've adjusted it to be manageable for you!
Yes! Flexibility is key!
Love this! Also purchased elementary and preschool for next year. But ended up starting last month. We are having so much fun with it!!
That's so great! We are loving it too!
Love this! I bought the bundle, still working on printing, and figuring out how we will use it.
Enjoy!
We are going to use this next year as well!
Oh yay! Hope you enjoy it as much as we are. :)
Wiv gather round we’ve felt how we break up both the reading/listening parts and the workbook pages. It looks awesome but we don’t go by schedules in curriculum we make the curriculum work for us. We rarely use the KJB, we like modem translations. I believe that is how God speaks to us as we are in the 21st century not the 1600s. I kno wen we move back to Australia we will be doing seasonal work backwards to the American way.
How did this end up going for your family? I purchased the preschool curriculum to use with my 5 year old. I was also really overwhelmed with the downloads and figuring out how to print them! She includes two syllabus options in the downloads, "Weekly" that follows the syllabus of the Elementary curriculum and "A to Z" to use stand alone. The "A to Z" is the exact same lesson plans as the Elementary weeks rearranged with the Alphabet's order, which means it brings the Tales out of sequence, but I'm understanding that each one can be a stand alone book. There's a lot I'm looking forward to (like the craft projects) but I'm having to think through exactly how we'll best use it! I would love to see an update on how it worked out for your family.
We used it for about 6 months and did really enjoy it. I didn't use a lot of the copywork for the reasons you listed. We mostly used it for character study, science, and nature study.
This looks like something we would really enjoy. Thank you for sharing! Does the curriculum teach spelling rules, or is it just a list of words that goes along with the story each week?
It does not have anything about spelling rules. Just a list of words. :)
@@ThisHomeschoolHouse I appreciate you getting back to me!
Is there an update to this video about this curriculum? I'd love to know how it worked for you!
Would you say the preschool and elementary editions are different enough to justify purchasing the bundle?
There are definitely different parts, however I feel as though I could have just gone with the elementary.
@@ThisHomeschoolHouse Thanks! Your overview was so helpful and i love your channel!
