Wow dude, where do I begin? First let me say, I love you! Wait wait, not that way 😄 I bought this 6 drawer dresser and the standing 3 door cabinet with the mirror front a few days ago. Secondly, let me tell you how much I absolutely appreciated your simple and attentive attention to details. The way you slowly and specifically pointed out "everything" after mentioning the next step was just what I needed and appreciated the most. I paused after ever detail and it made it sooooo easy and simple. It takes a long time to put 2 of these different projects together but you saved me so much time, effort and possible jail time 🤣. I can't thank you enough for this, perfectly presented, easy to follow and 100% accurate. I just purchased this unit from IKEA in UK and thankfully it doesn't have the safety drawer locking mechanism. I followed your guide step by step and it took me about 2.5 hours to complete. IKEA should be paying you for these videos!
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
This saved me too, so easy to watch and great instructions. Was so great to see a video that doesn't have stupid music in the background. I have no idea how long it would have taken if we didn't have this video to help us.

Good job. Best if you carefully read instructions a couple of times. Helps you streamline process by assembling like pieces at same time. Good tip for this kind of furniture is to apply wood glue where bare wood meets bare wood like where the dowls go in. Gives it xtra strength for longevity especially when moving.

idk if you will answer but very grateful & helpful if you did But the only issue I have is the bottom two drawers (left&right) won’t close as it should bc it seems the bottom wood part under it is too big? Or is it put in upside down? Not sure what to do

Great video! Question I have is around 11:55. Do you nail in the middle parts as well or just the outside as you pointed to? The IKEA instructions for nailing the back are consistent with your pointing but a couple other instructional videos nailed in the middle parts as well... I'm just going to do it as you (and the original instructions) seem to be suggesting.

Accidentally attached the two pre-assembled boards with sliders at the start and I ripped through the board taking it apart and the screw is now stuck in the plastic fastener in the long wood...

Does the whole dresser have to be nailed to the wall
My Malm dresser didn’t come with support bars for the drawers which I just requested and I realized the back panel for the drawers doesn’t even have the proper holes for the support bars. Instead it came with 6 M shape metal pieces.

I've assemble my MALM 6 drawer dresser, but they don't line up correctly in the center. The drawers rub against each other. I'm out of a solution! If you have any idea where the problem could come from, it would save my life!
I put the plastic fastener in the 2 middle ones instead of the metal ones and I can't get them out 😢
