I had a Russian friend in college here in Canada studying ESL(English as a second language) named Семён (pronounced Semyon). He would always write his name on the board as Semen (thats how it is spelled in Russian). Teachers were laughing every time and eventually told him to change it to Simon

We in Russia have neural networks that translate your videos into Russian. And now we freely watch videos with English and others. What about you? Псомотрел без перевода, но этот парень реально смешной человек
The "backwards" sounding Russian has an explanation: Most of the words in English end with vowels, so the flow of speech is almost uninterrupted, like a song. One word stacks with another like a jigsaw puzzle. It starts abruptly but then they drag the word. Russian on the other hand has majority of the words ending with consonants, so speaking Russian is like jumping on the river rocks, one by one. (I'm native russian speaker) We drag our words and then end them abruptly. So it's basically English in reverse.
irina vlady yes, right! I was thinking about Russians distinctively splitting words into syllables when we talk and wrote that word instead of consonants. I’ve edited, thanks.
@No One Согласен.

Good subject for a comedy act. Well done.
I was crying while watching this. I am russian and I can say that Russell is 100% right about all that stuff :D Especially talking backwards-it literally killed me , I blew up with laughter. What an amazing sense of humor , 0 hate , 0 racism , 100% pure humor
Literally killed you? So how are you writing that comment?

no, comrad. sounds like you disrespect us. very bad, comrad
Гоголь Надоел na bro he's INDIAN and mocks em the most. Just take it sportingly and accept the beauty and differences we have in cultures and languages
Sandesh Dethe sorry to blow the bubble. He's Canadian. Indian origin would suit better.
you better to follow my advice, comrad, not to repeat this joke in real life
Гоголь Надоел not a single Indian disrespects Russian language or culture. In fact the Soviet union has protected India. I can assure we are indebted to your forefathers.
dude, I cannot wait to see him in concert next month in Irvine.....stomach hurting from laughing.....
The end is just killing me! It's not fun that people laughing like that, but the story he told and how he expressed it is very fun!
He kills me every time. What worries me though is my name is Peter. I'll never call Russian plumbers. Edit, only kidding. I don't care.
Come on man. You can't be serious.
@@GUNIT50CentRap Он серьезно. Фагот звучит как Питер lol, you've got to be careful with the Russian language.
Just tell to call you "Pete". It roughly translates as "Drink". Mr. Drink is ok ^^
It would be fun
You shouldn't worry. Actually in Russian it is "peedor" with highly articulated D. I am Russian and name Peter doesn't sound same to my ear. Surprised that the topic arose. What is more funny that Russians have names like Sergey (literally sounds like Sir Gay) and Alla.

We in Russia have neural networks that translate your videos into Russian. And now we freely watch videos with English and others. What about you? Псомотрел без перевода, но этот парень реально смешной человек
It's amazing how he says "PETER" and "blyat'" sounding like 100% Russian, with no accent.
It might be a test. If someone laughs when you say "Mister Pidor" he is russian for sure!
😂😂😂
:-D
Thank you son! Sincerely yours, CIA))
@Антон Щербаков to do, blend.
Peter Belikh what does it mean in Russian ?
Он в теме. Красавчик!
The "backwards" sounding Russian has an explanation:
Most of the words in English end with vowels, so the flow of speech is almost uninterrupted, like a song.
D K-sky when you said syllables you probably meant consonants.Syllables means слог
irina vlady yes, right! I was thinking about Russians distinctively splitting words into syllables when we talk and wrote that word instead of consonants. I’ve edited, thanks.
Huh, good explanation.
@No One Согласен.
"your banny wrote, peace duke!" -talk when a young bully bothers you))

The funny thing is, "pidor" is short for "pidoras", which if you extend, becomes the full name of Peters Russel.
there is even a fullest version of it - "pederast"

а ты хорош!
P Ciprian, don't read "pidor" in English pronunication. It's like "peedor" not "paidor".
