I am 25 year old and I have done BA economics(hons.). I have 3 year experience in BPO company.
I just want to ask should I choose CA at this age.
25 years is nothing.... CA has no barriers of age,neither for pursuing nor for retiring. You can start CA anytime... and no retirement age: When u retire from firms,you can start your own practice. I know a person who was a lecturer for bcom, then he worked at sbi till 55 years. Then he did CA and became a CA at the age of 60. Now he is practicing as a chartered accountant.
CA is a very huge and difficult course, In CA final, there are 1500 pages to study in just one subject(Direct Taxation paper), likewise there are 8 subjects each in CA inter and Final.. But consistent hardwork and determination can do anything. Many quit CA after clearing foundation and inter, but according to me, if one can clear the first two levels successfully,then they can definitely clear third level with little more efforts than the previous levels.
So believe in yourself, give your 110 percent hardwork plus smartwork, do your best, prepare for the worst and forget the rest.
