Ofc streamers will go for nvidia but for the normal avarage gamer it the mid range amd and nvidia are equal +/- to 5% diffrence in some games. But paying from 15% till 30% more for 5/10 fps more is а oligophrenia. This is my thought and my only, dont want to ofend anyone

@@allxtend4005 well in the long run the rtx 4060 ti 8gb right now is 399 dollars in google, and 7700XT is 419 also in google, if we look up to 1 year plus you are more paying 100 if not 1000 of dollars in Electricity power consumption while the new 4060 ti sit around at 160w , well you can definitely save a loot electricity, so in my perspective a mid range GPU is the 4060 TI, but if you do not care for electricity in your region then go for AMD, also I used 6700xt then 3070, the 240w of 3070 is really hot I hate it, so getting a 4060 ti while using 160w is a win win for me, usually only few people use ultra max in first person and story line games, so getting to mid graphics in game can boost more FPS while saving electricity, well that is my opinion since I do not use max graphics in demanding game

The power efficiency of the RTX is useless to me unless I play esports because more often I always lock my fps to 75 due to my monitor to single player games which just ends not consuming much power for both of the cards. I'd rather spend less at that point

I'd like to see the same comparison of the 7800xt (AsRock's Phantom Gaming OC Version) Vs MSI's 4070ti Super Slim OC - I've got both cards and just moved to nVidia because of a weird issue with all of my system builds using the AMD solution - having to do with Noise Suppression for my Mic Inputs AND issues with getting AI applications to run in Linux with the RoCm Driver Packs from AMD. So far despite the 350usd premium over the the 7800xt - in short game testing, I was utterly underwhelmed at the dismal performance of the nVidia relative to the AMD. I am super salty about it - nevermind the fact that the aesthetics and build quality of the AsRock board is far and away substantially higher quality...
I'm thinking about upgrading my computer. I currently have an i7 8700K GTX 1070 TI. I play at 1440p. I'm considering RX 7700 XT or RTX 4060 TI 8GB. I don't know which card to choose to avoid bottleneck. Any advice?
You will get a bottleneck. Ypur cpu is too bad for curent gpu's. What games are you playing? Do you want to use Ray trading?
@@avagofn nie mam określonego gatunku. W to co mi się spodoba. Głównie gry pokroju BF, Resident Evil, Wiedźmin , Total War itp. RT to zależy w sumie. Może w alan wake 2 bym uruchomił albo CP2077, a tak pewnie nie używałbym. Kompa całego nowego i tak będę składać na premierę intela 15th oraz rtx 50xx. Chciałbym jakąś grafę na ''teraz'' żeby ograć te gierki. Jak złożę nowego kompa to ten ojciec otrzyma w prezencie. Dlatego mam dylemat co do karty graficznej.
@@Elviss2k23 no to radeon będzie mieć lepszą wydajność, ale sprawa może się lekko zmienić jeśli włączysz Ray tracing. Radeony dużo fps orzy nim tracą, ale w niektórych tytułach i tak może być lepiej od nvidii. Jeśli bardzo zależy Ci na upscalerze to Nvidia ma go lepszego, ale radeon ma swojego, który słaby też nie jest. Jak dla mnie dylemat jest prosty - skłaniałbym się w stronę czerwonych, ale jakbyś chciał to napewno znajdziesz powód do kupienia rtx'a
@@avagofn nie miałem radka od 18 lat. Czas chyba przejść na ''drugą stronę barykady''. Możliwe, że dołożę i wezmę RX 7900 GRE. Przy zakupie nowej jednostki po prostu przed oddaniem ojcu kompa wyciągne tego radka i będę w nowym używać. Też jest to jakiś plan :D RT nie jest u mnie kartą przetargową, dlss jest kuszący, ale to still upscaling. Nie ma to jak czysta moc i wyraźny obraz.
@@Elviss2k23 zatem chyba dokonałeś wyboru, ale zobacz które gry są lepiej zoptymalizowane pod daną kartę (nvidia/amd), czy twój obecny zasilacz da radę (maksymalny pobór mocy i dobre złącza) oraz jeśli chcesz jednak iść w cis droższego to porównaj sobie nowe rtx 40xx super, bo one mają dużo lepszy price to performance niż oryginalne wersje

Amd uses more power but its more quiet then the rtx. But damn the rtx power efficiency is good.

I've never had all these AMD bugs people parrot online. 5 people have the same problem and everybody trashes AMD. I'm upgrading from an RTX2070, which is too slow to even use ray tracing in any game. the 7700XT is now $400 so it just makes sense to me if I don't want to pay $100 more for a $7800 or over $500 for a 4070.
Gaming is too damn expensive anyway. We pay all this money for a computer that's garb in a few years. Still got to pay for the internet, electricity, and games, which are only digital goods now.

AMD wins but, 4060ti power usage is around 60-90 Watts lower.. pretty sure the Electricity bill will cover up the price difference.
Once you factor the Power usage for like 4-5 years, 4060ti wins !
I know this is a comparative test but at 1440p there is obviously no point in not using DLSS, it is practically impossible to notice any significant difference and in some cases it is even better than native.

Price difference to performance difference, if having to factor in energy cost, it would take something like 7 years of playing 4 hours a day, EVERY day, at 100% GPU usage (365 days a year) to "break even" in terms of value.
In 7 years time, BOTH these cards will be upscaling from 512p in minimum settings.

I saw the GPU vram usage in RDR2 and it struck me ass odd. The 4060ti has more vram than the 7700xt, but is using less. It's almost like the 4060ti shifted demand to the system ram.

but still RX 7800 XT has lower temps
and if you undervolt the graph so that it only receives 90% and you raise the memory clock and core cock...the temperatures are even lower and it doesn't lose even 5 fps
i feel like the 7700x runs better most of the time because of how much watts it get, as if thats whats holding the 4060 ti
it does also seem to me that the 4060ti used here has its fans ramped pretty high compared to the 7700xt, which could mean a louder card. 4060ti is mad efficient though

I will choose RTX for triple AAA games, but i'll choose amd for competitive games.
Why choose RTX? for triple AAA games?

2. you don't need more than 60 fps (atleast necessarily )
3. power efficiency. Oh boy better handle quality on graphics are mostly cost more power but RTX can give us excellent quality with low power. then id say RTX

I bought the AMD because it was more powerful and cheaper. Where I live, energy is not expensive, but the RX 7700 XT costs between 650 and 800 dollars, while the RTX 4060 Ti 8gb is on average 120usd more

Your crazy, high end Nvidia is still top dog, im not one of those but team green still has the most powerful cards available at the high end. the mid tier and low end is def nvidas worst performing section, AMD continually competes extremely well in that area for price to performance however both are greedy.

@@user-bw8xk2dd8u the top end nvidia cards typically beat AMD strictly performance. 4080-4090 usually always top the chart. Completely agree the middle and lower portion of the stack is dominated by AMD, 6700xt-6800xt are awesome cards, performance to value they do a great job.
