    I studied in ST.XAVIER'S on Raj Niwas Marg in Delhi it is one of the biggest schools, area wise. In 1960 it was opened as school and before that, in British era, it was a hotel. I thought my school was old but this is like on another level.

    They did not exaggerate on the food. We did get burgers and fries on a regular basis. The presentation, on the other hand, is not as good. Also, there were some days when we got bad food, but overall I think that the food was actually pretty good and a lot of students who have been to other boarding schools, as a matter of fact, agree.

      Look, people who earn in crores per annum it is nothing for them. Of course this school is not for people like us. People can buy Iphones then there are those who buy Xiaomi. In my family education is very important so my parents send me to one of the best school in Delhi St. Xavier's (Raj Niwas Marg) but some parents think that other thinks are important than their child's education, so they spend it on cars, new phones, all other luxuries. Its all about priorities.

    ha ha! I'm part of the alumni, class of 97. The food was never good and never enough....but if you compare with the stuff they served at other boarding schools in the vicinity...Woodstock was gourmet!

  • @flyweight
    @flyweight Před 11 lety +9

    True if you compare Wstock to exclusive prep academy's in Europe etc.although my 'woodstock experience' was largely shaped by making the best of what little we had. I say this because 95% of the students came from extremely privileged financial backgrounds, however, when they walked through the gates everyone 'became poor'. E.g. set pocket money of Rs. 300 per month, 1 visit to the buzz per day, etc so our idea of Pizza was rather spartan, to say the least, but we were very happy with it :)

      It’s not about income. Its about personal growth and being surrounded by like minded individuals

      What?! When did you pass 12th? In the early 2000s? In today's era every private school in India takes at least ₹50k fees for an year. In my school we had ₹20k for elementary and ₹40k for high school.

    WOW!!! We've got a online badass over here!!! Being an alumni that graduated 3 years back I know for sure the food is not awful!! It's better than most schools in Asia; having studied in the US also I can tell you the food here was a million times better. So seriously quit hating. There is a reason why we have 26 nationalities represented and have been in the Top 5 school in India consistently. And if you are still there you have no right to complain hypocrite.
