- In Doha entsteht mit dem neuen internationalen Flughafen Hamad International Airport ein neuer bedeutender Verkehrsknotenpunkt im Nahen Osten. Der Flughafen soll zum zentralen Drehpunkt für Langstreckenflüge werden. Die Passagierflüsse zwischen den Terminals optimiert ein Zubringer aus dem Hause Doppelmayr: ein speziell entworfener Cable Liner Double Shuttle mit Glasdach. Die von CWA designten, futuristisch anmutenden Wagen fahren im Terminalgebäude oberhalb der Check-in-Schalter. DCC gewährleistet eine 24-h-Verfügbarkeit pro Tag: Der Hamad International Airport Shuttle fährt rund um die Uhr an sieben Tagen die Woche. Das ermöglichen zwei voneinander unabhängig angetriebene Züge. Wie bereits bei anderen Projekten realisiert, wird DCC auch beim Hamad International Airport Shuttle nach der Inbetriebnahme den Betrieb der Anlage übernehmen.

Hi Wojciech! This train runs inside the building, overhead the travellers at the airport, so it had to be extremely silent - that's why our Cable Liner system was chosen.

Before reading this, my initial answer would have been, less dust production compared to underground because I think there's rubber involved.
Re brakes it could also be but I suspect the eddy current brake is used.
