While that may be true, the moderator has the RIGHT to do so, by dint of, indeed, being moderator; it is both the right and responsibility of the moderator to interject as they see fit in order to both ensure that the rules of the debate as set forth are being followed and that as many relevant points as possible are covered by the candidates in the time given.

So Mr. pence tried to hold her accountable to a statement and she saw telling him to pipe down as a loop hole around his question. She said whatever Trump and Pence are doing about the virus isn't working, and that's obviously true. She said Pence was the head of the coronavirus task force, true again. She said Trump and Pence knew how serious the pandemic was, even as they downplayed it, and that's true too. She couldn't have been looking for a loophole around Pence's question, because he didn't ask a question.

I can’t vote for someone who called African counties “shithole countries”. He also keeps referring to the corona virus as the Chinese virus, which is prompting a lot to racism towards Chinese and Asian people. Donald trump also has racist tendencies, he wanted the death sentence to 5 innocent black boys. In 1991 he said, “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kinds of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day… I think that the [black] guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is.” --- can you believe people support him?? Biden on the other hand has had some racist matters, but none one the level of Trump. I also like how Biden is willing to change his views for the betterment of the country. Despite being a catholic, he is willing to give the rights to a woman who chooses what she wants to do with her baby. Regardless of how you feel on abortion, I know joe religiously is against it, but he knows that as a president he needs to do what is best for the country and give the rights to women to do what they need to do. This was a much better debate. I was also impressed with the moderator.
The moderator was lax. She should have done more to steer both the candidates to answer questions because they both went on very long tangents.
After Chris Wallace she was a breath of fresh air. Though the questions she wrote all had negative framings for the Trump side, guess that would be her prior workings for Biden coming through.
Outside of that, she seemed fair to me. Gave each of them a short time to respond if either one of them felt strongly that something needed to be said.
