CHANGES:
- Wigfrid's song's cooldowns were reduced slightly, but point in video is still relevant, just less so. (Buff)
- Inventory storage items now don't get dropped when opening and interacting with them, including wigfrid's battle call canister, even while on a Beefalo! (Buff)
Clarifications:
- You can catch spittlefish with a seed, simply don't move the fishing rod bait after casting your rod. Correction by: @Lovens on Discord ( Source: czcams.com/video/YGSSaDbl3c0/video.html )
- Fireproof Falsetto has huge synergy if you have a Willow on the team, as Willow can set some bosses on fire for fire DPS without having your team take fire damage. Also willow gets 25% weapon damage buff if she has burning frenzy active (which requires w/e she's fighting to be on fire). Comment by @amazingkool on CZcams.
So... 0.3 repeating is one third, and 0.6 repeating is two thirds.
Ye, garlic spice provides 1/3 player resistance, so the multiplier is 1-1/3, aka 0.666 recurring 😁

Willow has instantly become the most fun survivor in my opinion, can't wait for your vid on her!
Kind of obvious but you can farm an insane amount of Embers by using combustion on killer bees. You can get multiple stacks in mere minutes if you have the bee hell biome in your world.
Also Fireball + Ice Flingo for cheese and farms.
I will never get over how much detail you go into for these videos, it's so lovely to be able to know the math behind the mechanics.
These "Excel" sheets are just perfect for seeing how it's all calculated all in one place and they're easy to read, your work is very much appreciated!

Thanks :D the spreadsheet isn't perfect and I'd like to make a very nice improved spreadsheet to allow you to swap out gear/characters/enemies etc with data validation to show the resulting damage but that was a little out of scope for this video

We love excel
It's a small perk but I love how Wigfrid's dash attack interacts with small mobs, you can easily and infinitely kill birds and rabbits with 0 preparation which means infinite meat and feathers anywhere.
I can't tell whether you're a bigger fan of Don't Starve Together or a bigger fan of number crunching. Either way, great video.

No no no. Craft a bunch of spears and helmets with no regards to resources. Hold f.
I have to say that while I'm not a Wigfrid main I started to play her after the update and she's just so fun to play. I especially enjoy her unique mechanic of levelling up via new weapons and items. Get clear-minded cadenza + heart rending ballad and bosses become a lot easier.Tame a beefalo, plant a punching bag and you can have an infinite make-shift tent anywhere you go. For mid-game get the dreadstone armor / mag and dreadstone helm + dark swords / cutters and you really start to see her power. And then of course in the end-game, once you get her charged elding spear + enlightened crown + dreadstone armor then she starts to feel OP but it's well-earned.

The helmet skills could be worthwhile even if you kill the nightmare werepig when playing with freinds as you could use the commander's helm while your freinds get the dreadstone gear
If you're playing with a willow the fire song is kinda nice imo since I overreact to noticing I'm on fire

Good video and I always love ur effort and detail, but in this one maybe the maths were a bit too much, they make the video overwhelming to watch, you could try to round some of these numbers and omit showing some calculations in so much detail. The script and the spreadsheets are always there for the ones who want to learn this in such detail. But hey, maybe that's just me I guess

quick tip for 16:23, instead of saying 16.6666666666666666666666666.... on and on until you are forced to say 7 just say 16(2/3), in speech it would be sixteen and two thirds. This is how we usually say and write exact numbers regarding dividends of three in mathematics.
and, well, any exact number that cannot be said in one whole is said in a fractional number but most commonly for the annoying 1/3, and 2/3

I just tried her shield and OH MY GOD it's so fun to use, elding spear special attack is very good and fun, but it is nowhere even close to the shield!

Wigfrid consistently gets shafted. She didn't hit any important break points in the base game, she couldn't eat coffee in Shipwrecked and now she has by far the worst skill tree in the game, with most of her bonuses being tied to specifically using weak items she doesn't buff at all or making gear that's situational (why bonus v wet when she can't wet things?) or just not that useful (this is a game you just facetank in, the parry shield just isn't needed)
Once the best character in the game, lost the first place, but now she becomes the best character again. What a rollercoaster.
I don't even play don't starve but these vids are awesome

How does armor work in dst? Does wearing a football helmet and log suit increase the total damage reduction or just the durability?
Just the durability 😁 so wearing a marble suit and football helmet, the suit provides 95% damage reduction, while helmet is only 80%,but you get the 95% reduction and the durability loss is split between the 2 armor pieces proportional to their relative dmg reduction %, I think.

Hey can someone please help me, whenever I play the game, I get lag even on offline worlds, how can I dodge like his videos if the game has that much latency in OFFLINE MODE
Turn off lag compensation in the in game menu. Will help both offline and online. The lag is generally caused but the world Gen and maintenence in my experience. You can also help this along by being a good work bee and not leaving drops across the entire map. Hope it helps!

The ultimate character guide glossed over 'major' synergies with characters imo and didn't really convey anything on what one can do with Wilson's abilities.
But I guess this can wait, since Wilson didn't receive his rework yet like all the other characters did already

Why did they give wigfrid, one of the best and easiest characters ever, buffs before like Walter and other characters who need it to be good/interesting
Can the shield block Charlie in the dark?
You can't do actions while in darkness so you wouldn't be able to enter the blocking stance right before the attack, but even if you could I'm not sure it'd block her since idk if her attack has a direction, which is what the shield checks for to see if it can block the attack.:)
