Let's learn some advanced (C1) phrases to help you build your vocabulary. These phrases are at a C1 level, which is one of Cambridge's highest levels of proficiency.
I'll teach you the meaning, tell you how the phrases are used, as well as go over the pronunciation of each phrase so you can say them just like a native speaker.

I would like to be good speaker
Finally someone who implements logic to the language learning in reasonable chunks which makes learner's side of burden in understanding the subtle nuances of this language, disappear from the get go & it indeed makes it quite interactive & fun. All things considered, this is hands down the best channel I bumped into this year.

As soon as I saw C1, I clicked on your video! I'd appreciate it if you would put a small icon W/S next to these expressions to show whether they are appropriate for Writing or Speaking or both. It helps us a lot to use these phrases in the right context or situation.

You are correct. Classifying the lessons is key for the students to organize their studies, and to know in advance whether a lesson is appropriate or not.

Hello, could I suggest using the scissors tool: Windows+shift+S at 18:27 of the video, there you have all expressions in a frame

All things considered = having considered everything...
Bit by bit = step by step, gradually.
Little by little = a similar meaning
Before you know it = very soon; the fastest way = before you notice it
Out of the blue = Suddenly; totally unexpected
At a glance = quickly; immediately
To have something against someone = to be angry with/ mad at someone
To look at the bright side = to look at something with a positive attitude/to try to see the best side of something
To take issue with = to strongly disagree with something/to claim
To keep a low profile = to be modest, humble/ to not try to attract the attention of others on you.
In accordance with = following...
Back roads = secondary roads to shorten the length
Bear left/Bear right

Elsa is a really good app! I use it every day, and I saw good results in a few months, after half a year of using my pronunciation reached a native level (92%), and it's really great!

i've taken the ielts a week ago. definitely gave me a confidence boost to know i am CEFR C1 level. i really thought i flunked the speaking subtest cause i started stuttering at the end since i was anxious during the 3rd part topic about politics. i wasn't sure what to say however i comforted myself whenever i feel intimidated with the questions being thrown at me. i don't need to have an answer that the examiner agrees with rather i should focus how i express and deliver my thoughts clearly that they can comprehend. i continued the conversation like talking to a colleague and got a speaking score of 8.
