wow, wow, wow, this episode speaks to me so much! You two are so lucky to have each other as friends!! Vanessa, I had a TBI from a freak fall about 10 years ago while in college. My "friends" who I thought had my back kind of just left all of a sudden after the abrupt personality changes. I blamed myself for too long and, with time, found a new chosen family who knows me for being my absolute self. It takes a lot of healing and courage to be able to speak with ease about this 💜

How can you tell when you feel like you want to be in a relationship with somebody, if it's just a friend, or you're somewhere in the middle unsure? I'm not talking about what actually ends up happening, but about naming that which you feel. I realize this is not a one size fits all response, but I would like to hear some of the things that made a difference for other people, so I can better understand. What made you decide this person is just a friend/this person I really like/this person has a special role but is somewhere in between?
