God I miss this place! So beautiful and calm
Thanks, speedy recovery
I miss it too just came back two days ago from Abuifera .
Wow! What a great video… Definitely going to Albufeira this year in September. Can’t wait 😁
Thanks ! Have a nice holidays!
참 멋진 여행지입니다. 정말 좋아요.58:04
Ola!
Gotta love The Old Town! What I didn’t love are the bar barkers hustling tourists to eat and drink. I do know what a restaurant and a bar does and I’m literate enough to read a posted menu. It would be interesting to know how effective this is to snag a customer. That out of my system, it’s not hard to find very good restaurants in Old Town; the food is good, prices are fair and, once inside, the service is usually excellent.
That's their job. It works for some, not for others. It is worth noting that if you refuse them, they accept it adequately and do not interfere anymore :)
@@Walking_Portugal I agree the barkers are mostly polite and don’t bother you once you refuse, but the next one is two feet away and the game continues. Bottom line is, I can’t find anyone who enjoys being solicited in this way, and isn’t enjoyment the purpose of dining out? And again, the restaurant food and service is usually very good.
39:07 awesome the escalators and stickers
Thanks
Would you say its quiet here in September? The nightlife looks a bit too crowded in some videos. Great video 🎉
Well, it depends on what you're comparing it to. Augusta is jammed. Plus it depends on when you're shooting. In September there is still a residue of tourists. Basically the quietest is the beginning of January and until the end of February. March is when the season starts. At this point the weather has been spoilt by a week of sunshine and the rains have started. Which will last about a week.
26:00 exactly on the right where the handmade bags 💼 on the wall I bought two. Two days ago. I’m in London
Nice ^-^
Good tour
Thanks
@@Walking_Portugalbeautiful video . Please keep posting through out the year…. I’m missing Portugal Algarve. Are you Portuguese ? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
There is train for 4 euro to go the other side or 7 euro for red and blue line it’s great when it’s so hot 🥵
Is September good hot weather for albuferia ?
The best. Most seasonal August is the month when the Portuguese go on holiday. The weather is the hottest and the crowds are high. And in September all the children go to school. It's less crowded and the weather is consistently warm. The ocean is also warm at this time, averaging 22 degrees Celsius.
Taxi rank right at the beginning of the walk was where I got my last taxi from on Friday :(
condolence
Danke für das tolle Video! Wir sind nächstes Jahr im Mai dort! Wie sind denn aktuell die Preise für Getränke und essen? Danke vorab und LG!
Thaks :)
Im comming here on the 15th of october, never been before , hotel is 20 mins walk away from bew town it says, could you tell me if the weather is notmally nice in october? Thank you xx
The weather is unpredictable this year.
Now in September it rains intermittently. The summer has been abnormally hot.
Usually the month of October is sunny and rainless. But it is already cool and we change into warmer clothes because of the cold wind.
@Walking_Portugal I'm gonna take some cardigans with me to put on if it's chilly then, I had a feeling it may have been cooler there now. Nevermind, im just happy to go there xxxxx
You will really enjoy Abuifera
I came back two days ago it’s incredible and so much to do. Loule , Vilamoura, boats from Portimao to explore caves.
Delicious food , souvenirs handmade leather bags porcelain mugs. History, and very hot 🥵
@@Walking_Portugalgreat information. When I was in Abuifera rained once and still very hot
Gostaria de indicação de um Hotel vista Mar ?? Alguém conhece? Desde já agradeço.
I'll be coming to albufeira on Sunday 1st October until Saturday 7th October and it'll be my first time aswel and staying at luna hotel da oura I'm looking forward to it 😊
Wishing you a wonderful trip and a wonderful holiday.
Thanks mate 👍
Is my hotel luna hotel da oura in a good location and if you can tell me whats next to my hotel and nearer and how far etc please
Yes the location is good. Close to the strip. Opposite the pingo doce grocery shop, but there are usually queues. Behind the strip there is one of the biggest Aldi. The old town is about 20-25 minutes on foot.
There is a shopping centre Albufeira Terrace 10-15 minutes away. There is a big grocery shop Continente. And on the 3rd floor there is a big terrace and food court. Good coffee.
Towards the strip there is a cafeteria called pao de aldea, good coffee and lots of sweets.
Thank you 😊
What is the temp late june/start of july??
It's been hotter than usual this year. 30 to 35 on average. The winds from the Atlantic Ocean often blow, so the temperature is comfortable. And you can always cool down in the ocean :).
The only thing is that at this time the tourist flow is big and there are traffic jams on the roads and in the shops.
@@Walking_Portugal thanks. Do most bars serve cider?? Magners, copperberg and such??
Lovely place, shame the staff at our hotel were miserable unhelpful people,Inatel praia beach hotel on the sea front,im actually still in the hotel while writing this
It's a shame, you don't get great service everywhere. It's a problem in Portugal. The service is more or less good in Lisbon.
