Island of Kauai, Hawaii

Kauai is one of the larger Hawaiian Islands. It owes the nickname "garden island" to its tropical rainforests. Jungle trails lead to the high altitude Alakai swamps. Another adventurous hike leads down into the 800m deep Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. The Kalalau Trail along the spectacular steep slopes of the Napali coast brings us to small bays. This section is called the most beautiful stretch of coast in the world.
