Owner of a 275 here, and I can say the handling on the meg is just staggering. It does some voodoo shit in the corners and sticks when it really, really shouldn’t 😂😂
Took my 275 to Oulton yesterday mate. Completely stock apart from semi slicks and track pads. The only thing in front of me (barely) was another Megane lol and it was like that the whole day. These things just bend the law of physics in the corners and completely dominate a track day. Had a lotus exige driver come up to us after who was really confused how he struggled to keep up 😂
I have a 265 Trophy… but it’s modded up quite madly… I’m pushing about 395whp and I have to say these things are insane! I love the cornering and it out of cornering picking up speed is insane!

Well depends if you want power a stock file is always the way to go but if you want Sound I’d go for an exhaust, blanking plate and intake… it would sound insane! I have mine setup on a 76mm straight pipe and stage 3. But took me roughly 2 years for everything since here in South Africa the parts are a bit harder to find.

My new favourite LLF video love the fact this guy has a bike background and very knowledgeable knows everything about the car and love Ricky's reaction too 👍

Yeah that thing is mental. Always loved Megane 3 RS's and now that I have one and have started modifying it I'm really really enjoying it. I do notice from the video that it seems to be struggling for traction a bit. What tyres is it running? It needs something like Michelin Cup 2 or Bridgestone RE71RS tyres to be able to put all that power down.
I want to see a grudge roll race invitational between you guys in the uk versus some of our fastest auto vloggers on this side of the pond like Daily Driven Exotics and the Stradman. Cars like Damon’s old tire slayer (twin turbo huracan) would be stiff competition. His new 720gtr build would be awesome to see against your new 720s.

Renaults are not made very well but fantastic drivers cars. I've had a couple. My old man had the megane r26 I loved it but couldn't afford the insurance.

Yeahh Ricky, Im glad you enjoyed driving the lil Renault...gotta remember that Renault has been involve with racing years &years ago, so that's why their chassis and handling are outstanding...honestly those lil frenchie car are way better than any focus RS/ST, veloster N, Civic Si etc...Im taking about the handling and chassis, Im sure some other hatch are faster but at the end of the day as u said, if you take it on Gring you'll see the difference and the awesome chassis from racing experience!

I have a 225 sport it's old I could do with someone's knowledge on it I've had it for 7 years and never seen the same model it must b because its a 54 plat 5 door Inferno Orange and no one wants one maybe lol I put up with so much grief over the years people telling me it's French rubbish. anyone that owns a Megane Sport it grows on you even with all the problems real Megane drivers all know that Real Love for the sport
