Minyo from the DPRK is so much better than the South Korean versions. I am not saying this because I love the DPRK, but I really mean it. To me, SK Minyo sounds more cracky. The North sounds a lot more beautiful to me. More traditional, more folk-ish

The ROK is basically the 51st US state so their music is nothing more than American pop music mixed with Korean language. The song in this video is probably the nicest Korean song I have ever heard!
