Awakening really should've become a standard theme other Personas built off of. As high quality as the OSTS have and always been, Persona 1 especially just has atmosphere like no other game in the series. A map theme going through the same places can swap from a city pop jazz number, to some Silent Hill dark ambience.

This is incredible, sounds straight out of the game!! I'd love to hear more later game themes remixed in P1 PSX style - Beneath the Mask I can practically hear the instrumentation of, and even where they'd have snuck Kandori's leitmotif

Absolutely amazing! Persona 1 soundtrack is... unique. Nothing else in series is like it, even P2 (although I love OST from those games). I miss a little bit heavier tracks in newer games, but it wouldn't exactly match the feel of those games, so it's understandable. I'd like to say, that Keeper of Lust or Master of Tartarus arranged in style of PSX P1 would be just amazing -w-
