I was 14 when cobain died, it was a huge tragedy for me(and a lot of other fans)back then. You really nailed the energy and made your own version. Thank you for making awesome music and I wish for you to go big and mainstream.
I don't know why but I don't feel the same energy. The track isn't bad but, I dunno I guess nothing can top the original.
I wasnt alive back then but knowing that he died I immediately started crying I was like 13 when i found out and it still hurts to know that I wasnt there in the 90s all the experiences that I have missed and I'm not complaining I just regret that I wasnt born sooner it just sucks that ill never hear anything like they were

I was about 10, but I remember it well. One of my close friends introduced me to Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and OLP. That was my 2nd introduction into alt music, my cousin introduced me to Metallica like 3 years before that.
I think the thing that makes this song particularly well done is the fact that he kept in the thick grunge guitar, it's such a signature sound to the era. So he managed to keep the feel, and definitely pay homage to Kurt in my opinion.
I don't know. Ayron jones, Bring Me the Horizon, Post Malone, Imagine Dragons, hell, even Sailor Twit and Advil Lasagna can throw out more of a hoarse "grunge rock" energy than this...

Now this is something else, taking a classic Hard Rock/Alt Metal type of sound like Nirvana, keeping the guitar and drums nice and heavy, but adding those digital sounds and some new vocals on top of keeping some of the originals, that's creativity, nostalgia, and good music mixed all into one, good to see some new artists coming along and bringing back good music instead of a bunch of mumble rap like 95% of artists do these days
