Ive got a Dewalt one I got with a bit set and case for $20 a few months ago. I use it at work randomly and it is handy when needed for sure. It's a fun little fidget toy as well.

You do realize you are working harder and not smarter? It would have been easier to mount the bracket to the section of wood, before inserting it into place.

Have you leveled (framing) for a boat? It’s never “true” regardless who the manufacturer is, especially aluminum small boats. You have to start at one end, build the box, attach the framing from the “casting deck” to your next frame to the existing frame…. Not so easy… Yes, you can build it “outwards” where you can get to all drill & screws w/out this angle tool, but the framing has to be done, on every support you add = different cut & support to make it true/balanced. Guarantee, it won’t fit, unless you take the pain staking “one piece, by one piece” at a time
