I don't think people in this comment section realize that this song isn't glorifying being lonely, isn't saying "you will be cool if you're lonely." It isn't praising nor attacking people with no friends.
It's saying "It's fine to have no friends." Hence; "I have no friends, But that's okay." & "I do my best, all on my own." It's simply trying state that it's okay to have no friends, As long as you can acknowledge your wrongs and rights by yourself, It's completely fine.

Sometimes you realize you are surrounded by people who won't be there if you can't do something for them and you decide that's not OK. If you realize you have no friends its ok if you can take care of yourself. Its actually a very healthy and useful skill to be independent.
Unfortunately not everyone can take care of themselves and force themselves to fit into someone else's needs. Its not healthy, but its a way of surviving for some. If you haven't found the right people yet don't give up. They're probably out there looking for you as well.

You know the song is satirical right? It's about how people get isolated for not fitting in and then start to resent others and believe that being alone is ok. As an introvert, this song was really a huge help when I decided to join tutions during highschool, I'm antisocial, like purely, don't go out from home., Physically almost an obese , !!
But I couldn't really make much friends there too, and social skills showed no improvement, I think it was more fun to take the long unpaved road ALONE with Earphones on, rather than people who are sooooooo bent on socializing that they forget they came there to study!

This is very relatable to me. Growing up i choose to be a loner and i don't regret it. Not everyone needs friends to survive in the world. It's a choice everyone has the right to make for themselves.
