Empire is actually the other side that drops into PC/DV, this is technically Pine Canyon I believe, it is a BLAST to go down and SUCKS going up!! Hahaha!
Yeah that's pine canyon descent. The second hairpin on the descent (ie in this vid) momentarily shows a gradient of 45% on Strava. it's brutal but super satisfying when you roll over the top of Guardsmans at 9700 feet elevation...

Okay, Specialized, you know I am a fan of yours and of Peter and his crew. But they really need to get it in gear and do something in the pro peloton here at the end of his career. Save the low and slow cruising for the event appearances. And I grin as it really doesn't matter all that much in the grand scheme of things, and maybe it is irony, the decade-long superstar easing out the back door instead of contending for anything. Sort of funny, I guess, but shouldn't he be doing this on an old Cannondale instead? 😀
