Just bought the Gel Kayano 30 last week. Thinking it was the latest version...There is no 31 in India currently! ...man I didnt know that they had already released a 31. It is a game changer.
Asics with its latest 2024 lineup, im my view, is the best Running shoe maker in the world. The kind of advancements that Saucony and Asics have made in the last 2-3 years, people dont even talk about Nike and Adidas any more, when it comes to running shoes.
Im 90 kgs, I had a choice between Gel Nimbus and Kayano, because both are the most premium everyday trainers. I went for the Kayano 30 because the only difference I found between the 2 was 4D guidance system. Both felt equally bouncy and I could easily feel like I was flying in both, even when my pace wasnt great. The new design even pushes you a bit. I would say a close second to these 2 shoes will be he Triumph 21, 20 (Not the 22).
Question: The old GT-2000 hade Lite-Truss, but the rebrand (Gel-Glorify) does not, does it provide the same support for minor pronation?
The analog is Asics - Gel-Roadmiles. It has Lite truss! Glorify is copy of cumulus.
If the Glideride 3 was still in production i'm thinking it would be a green/yellow. next to the evoride speed 2? It's hard to place it's heavily cushioned but also have a fast toe spring. It's almost like an alternate Superblast or cushioned Evoride speed 2? Also they've slowed down the Noosa Tri15 this year right? it used to be a fancier Evoride right?
Yep, it is almost orange, but missing a plate. To be honest, it just does not fit my classification. I would put it green, but with a massive comment
Glideride 3 is still my favourite😢
Gel Ziruss 7 are rebranded Nimbus 24. Good trick for selling old models as new at high price.

Absolutely disagreed about superblast. 45 mm stack with 252 gm weight. How on the earth its heavier. And its one the best versatile and dynamic shoes. Both cons you counted are absolutely rubbish. It's only drawback is its price.
Have you checked Magic speed 3 weight? 211gm. You do not agree 211 lighter than 252?

There is not a plate either in this shoe. Beside the price this is best daily trainer.
