Fairfield State Park. It's a complete shame that this can happen. Apparently Todd interest, Shawn Todd a real estate development company bought the lake/park for 110 million and most likely will cut trees down and destroy the surrounding ecosystem.

Maybe they might ease up on CZcams content but googan isn't going anywhere. I be all over the country fishing and pretty much everywhere I go I see an empty googan pack laying on the ground. Every fishing store I go in has tons of googan baits. Nearly every young person that goes fishing is gonna instantly go for the googan baits.

There's a road that runs parallel to 380 called fishtrap road I would really like for y'all to come fish that pond with me just one of y'all any of y'all it's a public pond but most people go there for Crappie it's very deep loaded with bait and I know there's Bass
Yeah the Fairfield State Park story here really pisses me off... Energy company owns the land and sells it to be developed into a multi million dollar private gated community with a golf course... because Texas needs way more of those...

I remember fishing a private lake that the guy never fished. My dad got permission to go there with his canoe and fish for a day. We were the first people to fish it a a decade. It was basically a lake next to the Fox River that got flooded once a year by the main river. He hunted there but did not fish.
Was there any big fish?
@@resisify no probably about three pounds is the largest we got. The water went up in the springtime so the fish were not trapped. We canoes into a whole bunch of wild rice which was kind of cool
