Am from Equatorial Guinea in the year 2001 I graduated from the university of Port harcourt (UNIPORT) I lived in Nigeria for over 5 years. Nigerians are more interested in making fast money, no matter the risks. It’s frightening the way the youths only see $ sign . ITS DISGUSTING !!!

That tax inspector title is not a lowly job. Diomaye has a degree in law. He also passed a difficult civil service exam to enter a rigorous institute for Taxation and Finance. He had his choice of several government ministries after passing the exam but Taxation was his choice. Senegalese tend to be highly educated and most attend local universities. If they are not university educated, they are usually trained in some trade. They also have a large diaspora population that sends all their income to further rebuild their country.
I recently learned about diaspora Nigerians building village mansions that cost one million dollars but they only visit once a year. You will never see that in Senegal. If they build anything, it would be a small factory or a high rise building to rent as offices and apartments. They invest in their villages by supporting agriculture and they build modern but simple homes for their extended families

What Sowore failed to realize is that Faye undoubtedly clinched victory in the Senegalese Presidential election due to the absence of corrupt electoral umpire who might arbitrarily change the rules mid-game or exploit technicalities - (technical glitches). Unlike the troubling scenarios witnessed in Nigerian elections, Senegal's political landscape remains relatively free from the divisive tactics of tribal and religious manipulation, which often serve as potent weapons for Nigeria's morally bankrupt leaders. Furthermore, unlike the unethical practices seen elsewhere, Senegalese politicians, particularly the seasoned veterans, refrain from resorting to the mobilization of street gangs to secure electoral success at any cost. This electoral ethos, devoid of deceit and manipulation, ensures that the legitimacy of Faye's win remains untainted by suspicion or controversy, setting a compelling example for democratic governance across the region. I only hope that Nigeria political leaders do not corrupt Faye. ~ Kexter E.A. Donald Jr.
