This is one of the two main reasons I don’t ship GiyuShino. The age gap isn’t really touched on in the Taisho Era, but the Kimetsu Gauken (sorry if I spelled that wrong) universe really puts into perspective the age gap. Shinobu is 18, literally barely an adult, and Giyu/Giyuu is 21. That might not seem like much, but it is a BIG difference. Not to mention all those GiyuShino shippers that act as though you killed their entire family at the mere MENTION of something that isn’t GiyuShino. Seriously. Get over it and grow up.
I really do love giyushino but im not particularly fond of this version. But yes there is ways to make this a more normal ship such as it could be they got together before giyu became a pe teacher or something like after she got out of school they got together like 2-3 years later, that's really the only way to make it normal or this version at least😗 Edit: I just learned in the light novel of demon slayer shinobu kocho actually did become a teacher later on with the rest of the hashira's so this ship does actually works out😂
Honestly I ship them in both BUT DONT KILL ME FOR IT PLEASE It is not unheard of in different stories for there to be a student having a crush on a teacher. These are more like admiration crushes ✨. Very innocent and adorable. Going past the time where Shinobu is in school, then I would ship Giyuu more because Shinobu has graduated. Not right away tho cuz I think that still might be weird. As a shinogiyuu shipper i instantly switch to a sanegiyuu shipper when the ship gets weird in the Kimestu gauken au, cause I personally hate the student x teacher ship, like a LOT, so I tend to try not to ship those two in that au cause it don’t seem right at all 💀
