The fact Luke Shaw is even being considered means the answer is 'yes'! 😂
Tyrick mitchell is surely due a call up
Joe Gomez & Dan Burn are all we need. Trippier can fit there is required as well.
DAN BURN!!!??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tyreek Mitchell?
Trippier is having the worse season in history, if he makes it to Euros then........
Burn clear yes, Gomez no.
Maybe Charlie Taylor as backup.
Lewis Hall is a possibility, has played well recently at LB for Newcastle
Rico Lewis can play there and gives a lot of options in other positions. I think Mitchell is also a shout.
Always why Mitchell is always overlooked despite his consistency.
England's best LB's of the past 5 years are Dan Burn, Luke Shaw and Charlie Taylor.
But Rico Lewis must be in the squad.
Max Kilman is a backup option also.
Mitchell, Hall and Chilwell are not good enough, but Mitchell will get there within few years.
Leif Davis. Simples.
Trippier walks it at LB for me. Gomez as backup.
Have you seen Trippier play this season? Sadly been way off the pace. But this spot is very limited as Mitchell from Palace has no experience at this level.
Dan Burn and Charlie Taylor have been amazing for years.
Unfortunately Matt Targett hasnt played much for couple years now.
Gomez is not good enough. Trippier is great but he isnt class defensively, but better than Trent.
If Shaw gets picked and plays at Euros; ETH should be sacked if he is not already as he should be able to stand up and say no you need time to fully recover. He has played 15 PL games this seaon and as an important player for us he is not reliable so he must take the summer off to completey recover.
Leif there he is…
Ortega would be starting the final regardless of the Ederson injury. You’re meant to know this stuff as journalists of these teams
Nope. This summers defensive selection should be all about flexibility and players that cover multiple positions...Trippier, even though he's a RB, is the best LB we have. Colwill, Walker, Gomez, Stones, Shaw, White (if he changes his mind), all players that can cover at least 2 positions..in some cases 3 or 4 positions.
The idea would be to minimise defensive selections to a max of 8 or 9, so we can take 14 midfielders/attackers...thats where our strength lies. We do not want to see 12 defenders Gareth, be warned!
Called Joe Gomez, we don't need Shaw
Never say never! Anything is possible!!! COYG & COYH!!!!!
Yes. She’s isn’t fit enough and struggle with his weight. Trippier is finished. We are in major trouble.
Yes that's why we should go to a Back 3. Free up the space for another Mid/Forward where we are stronger. Play to our strengths but gareth is a plank. 3-2-4-1
Grealish Foden(F9) Eze
Maddison Bellingham Palmer
RicoLewis(IFB) Stones White Trent(IFB)
Ramsdale
On the bench, Pickford Pope Shaw Colwill Guehi Rice JoeGomez Mainoo TommyDoyle Elliot SmithRowe Saka OmariHutchinson Bowen Sancho Sterling
Manager, someone who has previously played under or worked with Pep. Ex Spanish player and LaMasia graduates are preferable.
Tactics, 09-12 Barcelona, 17-20 ManCity, tiki taka.
Thank god you arent the manager 😅
. Kane
Foden - Palmer - Saka
Bellingham - Rice
TAA - Branthwaite - Stones - James
Pickford
Absolutely terrible xD
3 attacking midfielders..
Trent..
White in CB..
Ramsdale who hasnt played for a year..
Maddison who is overrated and got dropped at Spurs..
And the bench is worse than terrible😂 You make England look terrible.
@@a-walpatches6460 not bad, apart from Trent you chose a fairly obvious line-up, similar to Southgate.
But it is not our best squad.
@@TheLeechaolan15 It's not similar to Southgate, he won't play Foden, Saka and Palmer together, I hope he does but I doubt it. TAA is there to play in midfield while we have the ball, James/Walker would have to stay back to make a back three. I think that is our best team, not sure what makes you think you're the expert judging everybody else's teams.
what about Kieran Trippier? He can play left back and then you could havewalker. At right back.
Would prefer a left footer like Lewis Hall, Levi Colwill, Luke Shaw, or Ben Chilwell
@@Daggerworda I agree with that
He has been terrible this season but considering his history with England means he will get a chance.
@@Daggerworda Shaw is not always fit, and the others you mentioned are not good enough.
Trippier, Kilman or Rico Lewis can play in LB, but we need a class natural LB like Dan Burn and Charlie Taylor.
Gareth Southgate needs to be reminded that Lewis Hall & Tyrick Mitchell do actually exist.
So do Dan Burn and Charlie Taylor, both better than Shaw for over 5 years.
Mitchell will get to that level within few years, but both are not good enough yet.
Rico Lewis, Trippier and Max Kilman can play LB also.
Gomez and Chilwell are not good enough.
Targett hasnt played much last 2 seasons.
@@TheLeechaolan15
To be fair, Shaw has shown to be quite a good LB over the years. Heck he was almost our player of the tournament in Euro 2020.
Regardless, I agree that both Burn & Taylor should be called up before the Euros at least. Especially when Shaw will not be fully fit when the Euros start.
I also suggested Mitchell start getting call ups now to prevent Jamaica from calling up instead in the immediate future.
@@MrSmith1984 Shaw is a great LB indeed, but Burn and Taylor have been class defensively.
As long Chilwell doesnt play, he has always been massively overrated, terrible defender and overrated on the ball also. Nearly got Leicester relegated after they won the EPL.
Mitchell will get there in a couple of years, he could be called up, and good point.
@@TheLeechaolan15
Considering that there are 3-4 options at LB even without Shaw, there is no need to play Tripper out of position at LB.
Otherwise I don't disagree with your views on the matter.
Kane
Foden Bellingham Palmer
Gallagher JWP
Burn Dunk Maguire Walker
Pope
Pickford, Johnstone, Stones, Tarkowski, Lewis, Taylor, Rice, Yates, Barkley, Grealish, Saka, Wilson, Solanke.
GARETH struggling for LB😂.. TEN HAG have no CB and LB the whole season
Gomez simple
There's is pool of left back he pick from he is just refusing to see real talent
Its ok we have henderson
