- Hey guys. We are going to try and get the new cover on the greenhouse but not sure if we can make it work. With all the wind and rain that we have been getting here lately, we finally get a chance to see if we can put the new cover on. If it does not fit properly, we will make smaller structures to put the plastic cover over.

Did you say Oregon Spring tomato plants? I've planted them for the last 3 years out here near Seattle. If you can get them growing there, I think you will love the fruit they produce. Yummy tomatoes. Mine are already blooming, I bet yours will go crazy in your green house.
Great cover, looks good, that was kind alot of work, but you did it. 😊❤ Nice greenhous, it looks still pretty dry . Hopefully this Year will grow again something. ❤
Thanks 👍
Looks Great, but you both looked like a couple of chipmunks when you speed up the video 😁!
Haha
It looks great, and it was easy too. A big 👍 I watch a man called Chad Midgley, and he lives in Utah. And he is able to grow citrus fruits inside a greenhouse just like that without additional heating. But what he does is that he has two layers of transparent plastic, and he stacks bales of hay against the outside layer all around the greenhouse, and in between the two layers, and also inside the greenhouse. And right on top of the bales of hay that are inside the greenhouse he grows strawberry plants. And the composting hay keeps the greenhouse warm inside, even during a severe snow blizzard. And the bales of hay are packed with worms. And he sells his produce, including citrus fruits, on local farmers markets. It is very interesting to watch and I was personally amazed to see that he could do it without extra heating in freezing temperatures during a severe blizzard.
He also grows peach trees inside his greenhouses. because he has multiple lots of property with similar greenhouses.
Sounds like he really is doing it right.
@@rdreamhomestead1451 I love that sort of simple ingenuity.
