I bought this in O10 which is my CdP summer shade. I have dry, mature (old! lol) skin and am cruising towards 80. The new cushion is very flattering on older, drier skin as it isn’t overtly dewy. Rather, it gives that coveted soft-focus, real-skin glow. Old skin dehydrates throughout the day because it has thinned out over time. Consequently, a foundation that is moisturizing without looking oily is a gift. I’ve worn various CdP foundations for decades and I must say that as I’ve grown older, I’ve always been able to find a formulation that works for me. This new cushion is gorgeous on and wears like a dream on my skin. I didn’t like the previous version of the cushion, but this new one-wow! I don’t use finishing powder with the new cushion, but then, my skin is dry.
@@CremedeNacre Hi Cristina. I can’t speak to the similarity between the matte and the cushion because I don’t wear matte foundation. In both the “natural” satin version and the classic radiant fluid version, my summer shade is O10 and that is what it is in the cushion. The color seems to be pretty consistent. It gives a bit of warmth without looking yellow. I’ve been very pleased with it.

I like the Cle de Peau cushion foundation very much, but find it too moisturizing for warmer months since I’m oily then. In the cooler months, when I’m combo/oily/almost normal, it’s wonderful. Best application for me is applying the cushion foundation in the center of my face, where I have redness and larger pores, then smooth it toward the outer areas. This results in a much lighter application. Overall, Sisley Cushion Foundation works best for me because coverage is lighter, the color matches better and it’s usable even in the hotter months. The difference, I think, is the consistency of these respective products. Sisley has more of a gel, while Cle de Peau reminds me of their liquid foundations. Both are beautiful and well worth having. I love this foundation too and concealer. The concealer isn’t too thick I don’t have any dark circles just hollowness . I have to try to eye pencil I wouldn’t have thought to try tarte . Just not a brand I buy that much except mascara . Thanks for the tips as always you truly are a Make up artist not an CZcams influencer.
I love Clé de Peau products. I still have some of their liquid foundation in the glass bottle (forgotten the name) left and it's weightless. I'd totally use this with a brush. I like the look of the foundation but I don’t see any colors for darker skin tones.😞there’s no color that I can try and I’m a caramel colored tone. Do you see which shade I could possibly try?

I have never bought anything Tom Ford or CDP and live about an hour or so from anywhere that sells them so I would probably order online. I wear shade BR12 in the Chanel foundations. What shades in the TF concealer and CDP cushion foundation would you recommend? They both look beautiful on you. Now that I'm over 55 and my skin is becoming drier I need something that isn't going accentuate my fine lines. Inside I still feel like I'm in my early 30's but outside not so much.

I just bought one, never thought I’d like it but I think it’s the best one ever to apply a liquid foundation! Have all the Rehr, Sonia G, Wayne Goss and many other amazing brands and none come even close. Is it my imagination? Would love to hear your thoughts on it please
The foundation looks nice. I was not impressed with their regular foundation. I never use it as the color has a white cast and it settles in my pores. Glad this one has potential but I’ll stick with my Armani and Chanel foundations ❤
