@Motorcarnut raising volume didn't make it kick back in I think i need to just get new speakers to install on left side and maybe not a new stereo? If stereo has issues after new speakers then used one.

I pay $50 to fix my ford 2013 radio and after 2 days the radio was no longer working so I decided to check this video and after reading the comments about hitting the radio I decided to try it and guess what the damn radio worked just my luck thank you to those that comment to hit the radio 😂

What do you mean when you say look at 9, 19, 29 in the fuse box. am I trying to replace them? Am I making sure that they are there like what do you mean?
Ok, just remember, you’re going to need a dash kit wiring to make sure you don’t lose controls, sync etc. can be over $1200 just for a basic stereo, been there

My 2012’s radio died about 2 yrs ago…. It made it 10 years… my shop stereo still rattles the buildings windows… it’s from the mid 1980’s. Ford and most manufacturers now days .. (and from 10 yrs prior) have forgotten ‘K.I.S.S.’
I replaced door speakers a month ago but one was loose turning on and off while crackling. So if it short out radio it would have affected the fuses in panel? Because they looked good.

Could this situation be on any car? My Accent 2012 just flashing clock display and at same time digital fuel gauge showed empty when 1/2 full...Battery was drained like many times before and giving it a jump fixed everything, yet I never had clock/gauge issue before.

I checked the fuses all ok,the radio worked fine two days ago,I had misplaced my keys so I used my spare key then I noticed that I had no radio,I found my regular keys and now have the same thing,blinking clock and a Bluetooth sign don't know what to check next
Did you watch the whole video? Give it a good hard smack and see if it comes back on, if it does it’s probably the solder joints in the radio itself. I will be making a video on that repair soon but see if the smack helps

Speakers have been cutting in and out sometimes for years, radio works fine, yesterday the display stopped working nothing displayed. I have a 2010 F150 XLT w/ sync. The fuses are good the radio works. Should I try to get the display out and replace it with a junk yard replacement?
You could , but you have to make sure all numbers match on the new display even the letters or it will have to be reprogrammed by dealer and that can be a pain and extra money.
I was in the same predicament, but I found a used stereo on eBay with the exact numbers and it worked no problem but it’s hard to find them matching all numbers. I like a better stereo but it involves a dash kit, wiring kit to save sync, steering wheel controls and the stereo, plus if you don’t know how to install everything it can run over a $1000 depending on the stereo you want. I was going that route since I did want an upgraded stereo and I can install it myself however I don’t have the time and like I said, I found the stock unit on eBay. So depends on your situation. If you go the new upgrade way, check out Crutchfield , you can input your vehicle and it gives you everything you need to install even help if you need it.

Yep, mine too, it’s common, sometimes when you raise the volume it kicks back in, that’s the coils in the speakers failing

That seems like a different issue. Probably the front panel is bad.

I’ve discovered the wire connection in door speaker will come lose and ground out. Take out and solder it. I replaced all

No it’s not related. Yours sounds like a short somewhere draining the battery. Could be the stereo as they were known to cause your problem

This is for the factory stereo, an aftermarket unit is different and can be a number of things.
2009 f150 the radio works fine and Bluetooth works but the screen sometimes is blank or black. Any ideas?

Sounds like it’s the front panel of the radio that’s bad. Salvage yard should have used one.

You have to match the numbers exactly or some features may not work and would have to be programmed by dealer which is a pain.
