Kudos to Airstream for being contrarians. Economy is teetering on a blades edge, hyperinflation, 35 trillion in debt, and someone walked into a planning meeting and said "Hey, lets throw a hail mary for the boomers and price one for a Saudi prince." Bravo Airstream. Bravo.

No RV should cost more than a home (brick and stick).
The quality is a fraud, there is nothing in that van that is worth that amount of money.
The RV industry is completely out of hand and typically their clientele is retired elderly people that either have money or they have good credit and they take out these huge loans who would buy and pay this much money for something that’s gonna do depreciate with the wear and tear on the road
The Volta power system is tremendously expensive. And an airstream even before adding that system, is also expensive.
if im going to spend that kind of money it will be on a Class C XL that name isn't big enough for me to spend money on that.
I somewhat understand what you’re saying, however, if I’m spending this much and want a smaller profile, I’d bet my money on an airstream lasting longer than anything else at this price.

73" is still an adolescent, not adult, size mattress. The entire mattress industry, the hotel industry, everyone else says if it isn't 80" long, the mattress is for kids.

Two strikes against it #1 Price #2 Murphy bed. Not that nice.I didn't see anything that justifies that price. Stupid people keep paying exorbitant prices for mediocre stuff then they complain about how much everything costs.
He said it's the power supply system is why it's so expensive. But I agree with you it's nothing that special
I feel like for that price point it could at least have a washer and dryer
Honestly Aeon RV or Winnebago Ekko or any of the other Ekko variants by other brands just seem better and cheaper. The body is smaller so it is more maneuverable and you get more space in the garage as well as lots more drawers and spaces inside. There isn't even a privacy shade in the cab so anybody can look in the front and see what you are doing.
It's like a home on wheels, would feel like being at home rather than going home.
Would love to be able to do road trips in this beauty!!

There is no way you could justify the cost of that motor home.
I have worked as a diesel mechanic for more than forty years and I know this little twin turbo four cylinder will not last long.
I like the electric blinds, but if I have to raise and lower the sun visors manually I'll pass.
What can you tower with a 2.0 engine, a bicycle?
Not ONLY will the quality of the motorhome outlive you...the buyer! But so will the Mortgage Loan you have to take out just to get one 🤣 🤣 🤣

The problem with all these Mercedes Benz RV's the fuel tank is only 24 gallons.
Nothing about the main living area screams comfort. Seems like a hotel room on wheels.

Laughable airstream used to be the leader in the industry and now you couldn't pay me to drive her own in worries and I don't even own an RV, but I would choose a Forest River or one of the cheaper brands that acknowledge schwintech as a problem and chose to go with an alternative solution without skyrocketing the price

Airstream is insane, what bank is going to finance this without a huge down payment. The shell of airstream is the only good thing they have going for it. The rest I’d day is just like any rv. I am surprised they can stay in business.
