    How's the battery life? Anything you can tell us about it? We also need a comparison with Page of course :-)

    How long the does the battery last?
    Does it support headphones?
    Can we download pdf from the browser?

    A bit too small. I would prefer that the screen was 8" with a 3:2 aspect ratio. 4:3 actually doesn't make sense for reading books since physical books are closer to the 3:2 aspect ratio.

    This actually looks pretty decent. I just want a cheap e-ink device with play store so I can use a few specific apps. Of course speakers are must.

    What is the name of the built-in reading application? Can I highlight text and make marks with a stylus in a pdf document and save it as a whole new document with all the marks to read it on PC? Like Neoreader in Onyx boox.

    What about comparison to Onyx Page? Mostly interested in screen quality and reading experience (contrast, frontlight, etc.)

    • @Nikolai2i
      @Nikolai2i Před 4 měsíci +1

      I own both of them. The page is overall better. The software on bigme isn’t as polished as onyx. Frontlight on onyx is much better. It’s not as bright and the mixing between cold and hot isn’t that good.
      The most weird thing is that bigme screen rotation is weird. I want the buttons to be on the right side but when I cancel the rotation it flips the screen back, it doesn’t gets fixed on the position I choose which is really weird behavior.

    AAAA isn't surprising. Same as in my Surface pen. 7" seems kind of small for notes though. I have a Boox Page and I couldn't picture taking notes on it.

      Well, it's not going to get any cheaper than this. The average e-notes starts at approximately $400, so this is coming in at a significantly lower price point

    If they just kept the Wacom EMR layer 😢 cost to hit that lower price point I guess. Maybe next time.

    Just a bit of constructive criticism. I wish you would show more of what the UI does instead of talking about it and scrolling up and down without going into any details. I’m talking about Office Style vs Tablet Style, Gesture Settings, etc. To me, UI is one of the most important parts of the device. There are so few reviews of these kinds of devices that I kind of count on you for details. Otherwise, I watch every video, even when I don’t care about the device you talk about. Thanks.

    Too bad Onyx Boox has the better operating system, especially if you want to use the device as an e-reader. The Onyx Boox Page is just better. I'd rather wish for a size that would compete with manga sizes (~9-inch screens).

    • @learningcheme
      @learningcheme Před 6 měsíci

      They should stop making 7" screen. 8"-9" is a perfect size

    The product is certainly not worth it. Don’t know why the CZcamsr would make such recommendation.
    I purchased it and regret it. Buggy software, low quality hardware, poor customer service. Don’t waste £300 on it.
