- The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex-boyfriend and they used to live together. He stalked her and made death threats, but she’s suing for money he still owes her. The defendant says the plaintiff moved out and didn’t pay the last few months of rent, so he’s keeping the security deposit. He’s countersuing for back rent.

Yes, legally, the bank has to hold those records for at least 7 years, in many states.

my bank app does that, BUT if i log into the website itself , i can see about 2 years worth of statements. maybe she's dumb enough not to know to either call the bank, go to the bank, or log into actual website. She doesn't seem too bright really
Yea she is nuts. Cause even here in Jamaica we can access a year bank statement online if you want. And more if you go into the bank itself.
She moved to an entirely new state, for a guy she met on Omegle, but doesn't see a problem with her leaving and not fighting for her children. SMH. I think he dodged a bullet with this one. Hope the babies are happy with their Dad.

There are msg children who aren’t wanted by parents and it is sad. As a foster mum though I know not all of those children live in heartbreak and emotional pain and abuse. Many do. Too many. But there are some who find a forever home and are cherished and adored and loved/ just
Not by bio parents. My foster boys are happy and settled and well adjusted. They know they have a bio mum , and see her at times, but they know me as their mum who is there every day and night the good and bad and they feel their home is with me, I realise not all foster kids have a happy ending but some do.

I really think she didn't fight hard enough for her kids but I want to point out that she's 25 and has an 8 year old. That means she was 17 when she gave birth, and depending on the timing that could mean she was pregnant when she was 16. That's really young to have kids and it is possible that her husband was older and more controlling/abusive. Abusers are often great at masking who they are behind closed doors (been there myself) so it *is* possible that he got custody in a shady manner. And/or that he always was good to the kids so she thinks he won't hurt them. However, I don't think any of us here have enough information to determine any of that either way. She's given up, for whatever reason, and that's honestly awful. You would have to kill me before I left my 2 kids, who are actually about the same age. So I think it's fair to be judgemental of that. However, we don't know that the father wasn't abusive either so yeah.

My theory is she left her boyfriend/husband and children for the guy she is suing. The boyfriend/husband went to court gaining full custody of the children by saying she abandoned their children which was granted since she didn't go to court.
She left her husband in 2019 and met this guy in 2021 so how do conclude that? 🙄

The timeline doesn't work for your theory. The plaintiff stopped seeing the children well before she and the defendant met, per their testimony. The children's father brought legal action against her before the defendant entered the picture.

Vow 2 kids she’s not seen for a long time but least bothered since she’s having a live in relationship with this guy N finally leaves him without notice. She deserves to loose the case. Hate when Harvey keeps poking his nose in between the cases by asking disgusting questions to the ppl standing outside the court. The plaintiff is a great example of how being a mother isn't just about giving birth. The children are probably best away from her. Bravo to the father who stepped in and put that court order against her.

As a foster mum as well as a bio mum I completely agree that giving birth doesn’t make you a mother. All my kids are mine in my heart and I would do anything for them. The person who gave birth to my foster kids isn’t their mother , never has been. People told me once I had a baby I would know maternal love and that it would be way better then what I felt for my foster kids. They were so wrong ! I love my bio baby with all my heart, just as I’ve always loved my foster babies.
I raised my 3 boys alone after my wife decided to leave me for another man. The best decision she ever made. Thank you!
While it’s sooo important for children to know and have a healthy connection with both parents I do agree with you. At that time maybe it was best and you’re right bravo to dad for stepping up. but I really really do hope she got it together, the ex somewhat forgave her and she and her kids were able to mend the relationship. mommy issues ain’t no joke lol 💛

Yup.. my mother did this over and over made new marriage and family to replace the ones left behind in foster care we were left seperated in foster homes with strangers!! She left out of state with the new hubby and new babies! Only to do the same to the new set of kids!! I've lived this!! These mothers have Personality disorder and much more I don't understand!

You don't get barred from your children like that unless you did something egregious, or at the very least fully abandoned them. She's cold about her kids and carefully avoids answering why she has no contact. And that paranoia... I'm someone who is dependent on CNAs and health aides; her being a CNA scares me.

I left my child for 2 yrs long ago. My thoughts were only for myself. Instead of getting help w/the fact of her father and breaking up under awful circumstances...i started drinking and going out.
Honestly, I regret ever leaving her...to this day. There is a rift that we are still trying to repair literally decades later. If any mom leaves...go back! Get any help you need (pray!)...but go back. Your selfish freedom is not worth the burden you leave on your child/children.
When she came back we were both different ppl. It took me years to know...dna is not enough to deem us as family...I was selfish to ever think it was!

@@gingerbakerbarrett4941 getting past the first steps of getting through to her...may be difficult. Sometimes the emotions may be so intense that it feels like a lost cause. But that is never true. I went to a recovery center for 14 months and learned so much about both the addiction process and recovery process. There are so many denial systems to break down...and yes it is life long ❤️. Do not be discouraged when it comes to your daughter. Just for her to know your desire for reconciliation will move mountains. It has taken decades for my girl and I to get here...where she is finally seeing those mountains move!

You get money for whatever you want to have money for. The same way she got the money together to move with this random man in a whole other state, she could've gotten it together to go see her kids PERIOD.

There was a more basic question the judge asked earlier, “you guys broke up but remain living together so who’s sleeping where?” and she goes on to answer about her new lease or whatever. The judge lets her speak and then asks the same question *a second time* to redirect her to answer the earlier question 2:58

Under normal circumstances, if both parents are equally responsible, the man doesn’t get custody so your question is irrelevant if not ridiculous. If the man has custody, there is something very wrong with the woman.

So, from a mother who signed custody of my children to their father. It was because I couldn't give them what they needed. He could. I didn't abandon them, I loved them more than my selfishness. They had the best life because of that. Parents are supposed to do what's best. Non parents need to shut their inexperienced trap shut.
Before they moved in together to play house, they both should have saved up money for dental work. $1700 a month for rent is a nice piece of change rent for a young man who was formerly living with his parents.

If I was her, I'd take advantage of the opportunity of moving to a state for work and getting help while I'm at it. She travels for work, which means she doesn't plan on staying. What is she supposed to do? Exhaust every penny she owns to lawyers while she barely makes it? The judge won't rule kids in her favor that way either. If she's sitting around, depressed, not making a good income or improving her life. She won't get the kids that way either. One of the dogs is already stated to be a service dog for her, she didn't buy a designer dog. It's not uncommon for people to get their dog a companion either. That's like saying instead of buying herself a house, she should've used that money for her kids. Kids cost way more than a couple of dog, and so to lawyers. She's allowed to be happy and have a life while stuck with not being able to see her kids, for whatever the reason is. I wouldn't talk about my PRIVATE situation either on nat TV, let alone sit around and cry about it.

this is someone i know and hold pretty dear to me. every one of you who took the time to comment hateful things, i hope you sleep good tonight. i don’t care who this judge is, you don’t know the situation. she was in fact in an abusive marriage, I WAS FIRST HAND WITNESS TO IT ALL. It was the most toxic thing someone could ever witness. The fighting, the cheating, the THOUSANDS of phone calls their youngest (barely a few months old) scream into a cellphone, until he lost his poor voice, why you ask? Because she was at work and he didn’t want to be a stay at home dad (only took care of them on the weekends). Let’s talk about how she had to have me watch the youngest because he would argue with her for working, but would blow her money. The ex’s family HAS SO MANY CONNECTIONS to our local court it is unbelievable, I watched the divorce proceedings my own self, the judge, and BD’s lawyer and ex FIL were all good friends. Family court is so beyond corrupt and many can agree. She has tried to see the kids, she has sent gifts, and tried to speak over the phone, he would never let her, matter of fact he barely takes care of them, according to ex father in law, on his new state commissions details about him, him and his wife raise them. How said though because Plaintiff was never informed because why would she? The courts are grimy. Did she make mistakes by moving for this man? Of course, I’m sure she understands that, but imagine, y’all heard 27 minutes (barely 5 of it about the kids) and RAN with assumptions. I’ve watched everything for 7 years (prior to divorce, during, and after) Yes, she made mistakes, but you guys know maybe 2% of a HORRIBLE situation and you got on here and said hateful things about her as a mother and the children and her looks. Some of you need a real life. I hope all of you find peace in your lives. ❤
If your relationship is that bad you don’t leave your kids. Period. I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, and never once did I ever think about leaving my children with my abuser like they were furniture. I sleep very well knowing me and my children are safe under the same roof.

Yeah and to be so dismissive of the things people ACTUALLY experience. If her exhusband was abusive (whatever manner) and had ties in the law world I highly believe he exerted a power play and manipulated the court system to get custody just to hurt her. Unfortunately all the kids see is mom isn't around and they'll make their own conclusions as to why. Not everyone has the money and resources to hire a lawyer to fight on their behalf so easy and quickly, and some of THOSE people aren't adequately able to defend themselves in the interm. It's sad because both parents can be abused by the court system. Just because it's predominantly leans towards the mothers favour doesn't mean it always does. And just like it's not always right to give kids to the mom, not always right to give to the dad either...
