The move was originated by Kent Nilsson, the greatest stick handler the game has ever known. He introduced it in 1989 in the World Championship against the US. Forsberg copied it in 1994 against Corey Hirsch, and it has been used a few times since. It’s a Swedish trademark, and a player like Pettersson, like many other young Swedes , learn this move while still in diapers.

I was at this game. His goal before the shootout was dirty. Top shelf in and out. Team needs more of front though. Need better d as well. Marko was solid between the pipes though. He deserved a W.

Why do people think the Canucks are good? There’s 4 good players they won’t be competitive for the next couple of years. It’s better they lose especially since it’s against NJ to for a lottery position.
Where the hell did you hear that? Nobody has been saying that the Canucks are a good team right now, even the Canuck fans. Have you not been here where people constantly rip into how abysmal the Canucks D are and the lack of scoring depth we have? It's just that the Canucks do have pieces that can pave way for a potentially great team in the future if they play their cards right. They are still on a rebuild after all.

This kid is clearly unreal. The NHL needs to stop protecting him though. He needs to gain some weight so he doesn't get hurt all the time as he improves the game. Like seriously 6'2" 175lbs makes him fragile which, isn't good for Van City. This is coming from a Calgary fan that wants the rivalry back as the Oilers are still rebuilding.... Johnny Hockey weighs that... Get this guy a Sandy so he plays all 82 and Van City will have a great foundation.
I think he'll put on some weight before the next season starts. It's probably hard to put on anything mid season since they're constantly playing.

Petterson is way better player than Dahlin. Watched when Dahlin played against Pens and it was seriously just horrible defending and playing.
Dahlin is two years younger and plays a position that's notoriously hard for young players. It's too early to tell who's going to be better.
