i knew san's english pronounciation was great, but i hadn't noticed how good his grammar and vocabulary were, like.... he was speaking so well in that one live where he's wearing the grey shirt, i was actually amazed i'm so proud of him and the other members 😭😭 they've improved so much over the past few years, especially him and hongjoong edit: i forgot to mention, but jongho's pronouciation in english is pretty good as well!
Why do they say only Hongjoong can speak English? San is a really good speaker. He doesn’t stutter and has great pronunciations. If he is trained with more vocabs and sentences, we wouldn’t even know that he is Korean anymore just by voice. He has an accent to it that make me love it
I definitely think San has the best pronunciation within ATEEZ, but like you mentioned, his vocab and sentence structure is a little more limited. whereas hongjoong can understand and form more elaborate responses on the spot better it seems (based on fan call videos and lives). I think they said Hongjoong sometimes watches English shows without subtitles now? Crazy!! I'm not sure our Sannie can do that just yet, but he's definitely rapidly improving! Same with the rest of the members :)

I feel like if San spent 6 months living in the US he would leave fully fluent in English. All he needs is full immersion. And I feel like it would be the same for Seonghwa.
