As a long-time fan of Trap Nation, I am disappointed with the direction the channel has taken. Trap Nation introduced me to trap, hardwave, future bass and EDM, and I loved many of the artists featured and their bangers. I used to enjoy following and interacting with them. But after 2023, the channel changed its focus and started broadcasting different genres. Jean, the former curator, said he wanted to share more freely what he likes, which I respect, but several months later, the channel locked itself into a single genre that doesn't fit TN. I miss the artists who made Trap Nation great, for example in 2023 we haven't seen the projects of Juelz, Illenium and Skrillex. I feel like I'm losing the connection with the channel and the artists. I wish we could get some updates on the future of Trap Nation and why it's changing so much. Thanks for reading!
PS: No disrespect to the artist on this video and for this type of song, it's just not what TN fans expect on this channel

I totally get where you're coming from. Trap Nation has introduced me to so many great artists and genres with trap, future bass and hardwave. And I feel like when Jean wanted to uploaded whatever he wanted, started this mindset of "let's upload whatever we want, screw what the fans think" and funny enough I was actually one of the people that supported it because I believed that they would upload interesting genres like melodic dubstep, drum and bass but instead we get tiktok popular songs of phonk. In jeans credit I do believe he was the best curator trap nation had. With this currant curator he has uploaded a lot of great music but then he goes 180 and will upload some shitty funk songs. I just wonder if they don't care about fan feedback anymore.

@@Ghostplayer1267 When they decided to broaden their genres of music, I said that I was afraid that it would perhaps change the DNA of the channel too much and that we would no longer see our artists that we had used to hearing
